Dr Archeville Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 propanone = acetone distilled terebinth resin = turpentine acetone + benzene + turpentine = "The Dip" from Who Frame Roger Rabbit (Which would do absolutely nothing to Jester, except maybe bleach his jacket, but Grim's theory that he's a 'Toon is one that Doc might also reach.)
Gizmo Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Doktor Archeville: making obscure in-jokes for - and with - SCIENCE!
Sandman XI Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Forgive me for my lengthy absence. Time to get this party started!
Sandman XI Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 I did not notice until now that he PULLED the building TOWARDS THEM  :thud:
quotemyname Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Jester bailed, so I don't know if this is still going on or if it is going to flop like last time?
Heritage Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Do you want to continue without him, and make up an IC explantion for his absence?
Sandman XI Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 Sand? Still with us?I admit, i had hope for this thread. But I failed to see the bigger picture. I would end up railroading you through a dungeon crawl and then returning you home after you set right what had been going wrong. And I'd feel like a bastard for doing it. I saw you guys had other plans than what was planned and I freaked. I do not blame you, you guys were awesome. What I lacked was creativity here. I had a set story and you guys wanted a sandbox. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I CAN'T SAY THIS ENOUGH. I promise to never look at a prepublished adventure again for an event like this.
quotemyname Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 There's nothing wrong with running a pre-published adventure. You just have to work it a little bit. That's what character hooks are for. "Sure you COULD go over to that section of the city... But here's something interesting to keep you HERE."
