Dr Archeville Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 13 does, in fact, hit! As I said, they move like zombies. ;)
Gizmo Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Alright, after extensive discussion in chat, we've determined that by taking 10 on Power Attacks, Jack will automatically take out every zombie he can reach. To that end, he's gonna use Takedown Attack 2 to do this: Take out the three zombies that crawled in the window Step to the window Take out the single zombie on the other side Step outside through the window Take out the five zombies surrounding the space outside the window Use his remaining four steps to reach three more zombies apiece Which totals 21 zombies taken down. Which is awesome.
quotemyname Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Wow, great job! By that same token, I do believe Colt can do the same (taking 10 and power attacking for full gets him a 24 attack roll). Except that with his Omni shot ability he should be able to take down every zombie within line of sight and range. And maybe not even line of sight because of the Ricochet ability this attack has. Right then. Move action to roll out the window after Jack, moving into the breach. If there's still zombies left, I'm going to start firing. And I won't stop until either I run out of bullets, or there are no zombies left. Fortunately for us, only one of those things is likely to happen. I'm going to hold of on posting IC for now though. Jack just took down 21 zombies single handedly, I'll wait on what Doc has to say to see if there are even zombies left to attack :P
Dr Archeville Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 There are another 15 or so left. But Colt only has Takedown Attack (1), JoAB has Takedown Attack 2. But the only benefit of a second rank in TA is to be able to move between attacks... which Colt doesn't need to do, since he's standing there and shooting them in the face. /action needs to find a way to do maps here
quotemyname Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 It's also an Area of Effect. So it sounds like my action is kosher then. I'll go ahead and post IC.
Heritage Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Aw man! If Grim hadn't been so icked out by the thought of burying her claws in decomposing flesh, she could have cut a swath of terror like her teammates! Oh well, the next pack of zombies will not be spared her tiny wrath
Dr Archeville Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 And since A) they're Minions and their Toughness save is so low they can't save against your attacks, I'm not even bothering to roll for them. Congratulations, you now have 36 dead people at your feet! And one more heading for Grimalkin's dainty feet!
Heritage Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 "I swallow your soul, I swallow your soul!" "Swallow this!" 1d20+8=19
Dr Archeville Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 Grim was pretty stunned by the impressive body count her two teammates racked up. "Wow, you killed them all in like less than thirty seconds! Mad props to the manly killin' dudes!". In less than six seconds, actually. Its head asplodes. You're now free to do... whatever. If you're looking for stuff, gimme some Notice and/or Search checks.
quotemyname Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Skill mastery: Notice 25 Search 22 Colt walks back into the room, and takes a quick stock of the situation.
Dr Archeville Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Sorry for the lag, I could swear I'd posted earlier!
quotemyname Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Colt hits DC 15 Investigate with Skill Mastery. I believe that's the Usual DC required for properly collecting evidence, correct?
Dr Archeville Posted April 20, 2010 Author Posted April 20, 2010 Indeed. Now the question is: where do you take the collected evidence?
Heritage Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Indeed. N ow the question is: where do you take the collected evidence? I would think Det. Colby would be a good start.
Heritage Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Vince! He never gets to do anything... That was actually my first thought, but I wan't sure what all he can do.
quotemyname Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I think we should hit up vince first. if he tells us that this stuff is magic and he can't handle it then we'll outsource ;)
Heritage Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I think we should hit up vince first. if he tells us that this stuff is magic and he can't handle it then we'll outsource Agreed.
Dr Archeville Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 A minor (or is it?) detail: after collecting evidence from the drug house & the bodies, are you heading straight back to the Interceptor's Brownstone? Calling someone to collect the bodies? Shoving them all in, torching the place, and letting Sweet Mother Fire take care of everything? Summoning velociraptors to eat them?
quotemyname Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I'll answer that question with one of my own. Did we arrive in the MAVERIC? If so, we can possibly cart them away with us. Though I really don't want all that zombie slime on the upholstery...
Dr Archeville Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 Did we arrive in the MAVERIC? I'll leave that up to the three of you.
