Dr Archeville Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 initiative (1d20+2=16) *opts not to swing in on a rope of his own intestines*
quotemyname Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I just threw up a reaction to Dead Head showing up. Though, I'm not really sure who's actual turn it is with him getting stuck in the initiative.
Gizmo Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Huh, good question. The zombie, plant... things just went on count 14. If Dead Head's on 16... erm... Darius, you wanna make a call?
Dr Archeville Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I'd suggest continuing on in the initiative order. Since Plant Monsters just went, it's Hellion's go, then Fleur, then a new round, with Breakdown, then Jack/Blades, then DH will actually do something.
Dariusprime Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 What the good Doktor said. Cyroa is up!
Dariusprime Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 <.< >.> You there, Cyroa? Calling Hellb...Hellion! :D
Dr Archeville Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I know I said I was back but life got busy. (Furnace died too.) And now I'm mostly away from the 'Net till Sunday. But I'll be back, honest! Looks like there's still some waiting to do. And Fleur'd be next, but Electra's not been on since late Thurs night.
Electra Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I was traveling! Man, miss a day, miss a lot, huh? But traveling 450 miles with an infant does not allow for a lot of posting time. I'm home now though, so whenever it's time for me to take my turn, I shall.
Dariusprime Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 Looks like there's still some waiting to do. And Fleur'd be next, but Electra's not been on since late Thurs night. I'm back! Thanks for the heads up, Doc.
Electra Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 So should I go, or are we still going to wait for Hellion?
Dariusprime Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 I really don't like to skip people, but yes, go right ahead, Electra. Is that alright with everyone? Hopefully he will be around shortly. :)
Electra Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Stesha is using Disintegrate again. She's spending a second hero point because I cannot roll for beans, and the second roll comes out an 18. If that hits, it's a Fort Save at DC 20, then a Toughness Save at DC 25.
quotemyname Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 So what's the status in the front yard? Where are the trees in relation to me and Dead head? etc?
Dariusprime Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Fortitude vs Fleur's DC 20 Disintegrate (1d20+16=28) Toughness vs Fleur's DC 25 Disintegrate (1d20+16=27) Three trees are animating. They are Huge (~50 ft?) and vaguely humanoid, like Treebeard. The nearest is 30 feet from Breakdown near the street. The second is 40 feet away, on the other side of the driveway in the center of the yard. The last one is about 50 feet away, on the other side of the second one, just over the property line. It hasn't animated yet, but is rapidly undergoing the same process. They haven't approached yet. I'm not sure where Dead Head is exactly, but I'm assuming he is close to Breakdown. New round is up. The trees are dead last. :)
quotemyname Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Drowning Pool - I am Actions this round: Move: Approach tree Standard: Feint (Using Set-Up for Dead Head) DC 31 with Skill Mastery.
Cyroa Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Hey, REALLY sorry. Do you want me to bow out or get back in? Not sure where we are in the 'que'. Let me know...
Dariusprime Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 S'ok. Life happens. Jump right back into the initiative, Cyroa. New round has just started, Breakdown going first. New post up and running in a few hours when my life isn't so hectic!
Dariusprime Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 First off, lets see if the tree can overcome Breakdown's Brutal Air Guitar. I really doubt it, but hey... Will Save vs Breakdown's Feint DC 31 (1d20+8=9) Not a chance! You'll have a very easy hit, Doc. Broad side of a barn easy. ;)
Dr Archeville Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I believe it's Jack of All Blades turn, then Dead Head... yes?
Gizmo Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Sounds right, Doc. Well, Stesha said to deal with the little ones, and Jack's not one to disappoint a lady. He'll go after the closest yellow one, since that whole spitting deal seems like bad news. Power Attack 5. (1d20+12=16) Oh, yuck. I suspect he'll have to spend an HP to reroll that, but before I do, it occurs to me to ask whether I should still be using his old Strike power or the new version he got with this month's edits. It's a pretty big difference.
Dr Archeville Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 You should also ask whether or not these are Minions; if so, you can Take 10 on the attack roll ;)
Dariusprime Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Hmm...to be honest I haven't been treating them as minions, so for now this batch will be normal monster fu. Now the others, well, thanks for the heads up. As for the edits, do we have an informal (or formal if I missed it o.o) rule on edits during existing threads? I personally do not have a problem with it. The Piranhas have Defense 18, so yeah, a reroll may be warranted. The Leader Tree out front is flatfooted right now, dropping its Defense to 14.
Electra Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 The default is that you stick with the stats you had when the thread started, but the GM has total discretion on whether to allow edits. A lot do, just because it can be hard to remember from thread to thread what your stats were at that point in time.
