Dr Archeville Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Twig "snaps" and attacks us, distracting us while Green Man regenerates? Vine Monsters from Space appear, investigating the death of their brother?
Dariusprime Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 The first one is plausible. The second sounds like...a SEQUEL! :cthulhu: I've been wondering about initiative. How should I handle it now? Just have Twig take his actions as a sort of surprise? Sounds odd considering how everyone seems readied for that. Suggestions? Comments? Flames? ;)
Dr Archeville Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Oh, I didn't mean more from Space, I meant more of the things from Space that're already here. We've found two, there's three others, right? As for actions: I'd say that, since everyone's been anticipating something, we go in the established initiative order Jack 25 x6 HP Breakdown 13 x4 HP Animated Trees 8, some crispy Sprig 8 Fleur 7 x5 HP Twig 6, bruised x1, stunned to 5 The Green Man 6 bruised x1 Hellion 5 x4 HP DH 4 x2 HP starting with Jack, since Hellion and DH were the last two go. (some of those HP and damage totals may need to be changed)
quotemyname Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 That or you start with twig, and everyone who called a readied action gets to take it?
Dr Archeville Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Actually, I believe Quote's is the more technically correct answer.
Dariusprime Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 Alrighty, sorry about the delay. I'll roll with quote's idea. Sprig will try to squash Hellion, and the other characters with ready actions can go. Attack vs Hellion's Def 20, DC 29 Toughness (1d20+8=22) From there I'll follow normal initiative, but for now lets get those readied finished. :)
Cyroa Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 toughness (1d20+11=14) Good grief! I'll be HPing that... toughness w/ HP for reroll (1d20+11=28) bruised
Dr Archeville Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Readied Actions would go off as a Reaction to Sprig's attack. So... who had Readied Actions? I think it was just Hellion (to attack with his Hellsword) and JoAB (to attack with StabPunch).
Dariusprime Posted June 1, 2010 Author Posted June 1, 2010 Yup, go right ahead and post. I thought Breakdown, JoaB and Hellion all had readied actions. <.
quotemyname Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 BD was ready with a blast as well. I'll get that up in a few hopefully.
Cyroa Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 well, since I did just go, will let Breakdown and JoAB post first
Dariusprime Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 Okay, Gizmo, you're up with your readied, than Cyroa. After that we'll be in regular rounds with Electra up. Jack 25 x6 HP Breakdown 13 x4 HP Animated Trees 8, some crispy Sprig 8 Fleur 7 x5 HP Twig 6, bruised x1, stunned to 5 The Green Man 6 bruised x1 Hellion 5 x4 HP DH 4 x2 HP
Gizmo Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Man, that woulda been a lot less embarrassing a lapse if I hadn't immediately been pulled away from the site for a few days... Alright! Jack going to toss Sprig a DC 33 Feint then Power Attack 5 (1d20+13=15) Oh, yuck. Do I need to reroll that, Darius? He's also turning on either his Detect Energy or Detect Magic, whichever his Awareness tells him is appropriate.
Dariusprime Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Will vs Feint DC 33 (1d20+8=19) The attack is good, Giz! If I'm reading this right, he needs a Fort DC 21 and Toughness DC 28, yes? Detect Energy would probably be what the Awareness suggests.
Gizmo Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Sure, I usually go with the flurry attack, but mixing it up with the Corrosion couldn't hurt. Do you want to roll those saves first, or shall I just get this post going?
Dariusprime Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 Fortitude vs JoaB's DC 21 Drain (1d20+14=25) Toughness vs JoaB's DC 28 (1d20+14=22) Post away, Giz. You stunned him good! I'm probably going to be scarce the next couple of days, but I'll get up a reply as soon as possible.
Cyroa Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 attack (1d20+12=23) using: Blast x10 [Fire](Extra: Autofire x1; PFs: Accurate x4) (Fireball/Flamethrower!) [34/36PP]
Dr Archeville Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I think we need Toughness saves for the things Hellion attacked, then it'll be Fleur's turn.
