Erin nodded. "Sure," she told him, "I'll keep it in mind. If you're ever up at night again and want to do some training, hit me up. It's less boring with two people. Think I am going to go take a nap now, though," she decided. "Sleep when the getting's good, just in case something comes up tomorrow, you know. See you around?" she asked.

"Count on it," Trevor agreed with a slight nod and what might have almost qualified as a smile.

Making his way up to ground level then back to his dorm room, the laconic teen changed and prepared to sleep, sufficiently worn out by the exercise to make the attempt. As he turned out the lights and lay down, however, he found himself wide awake, unable to stop his mind's ruminations on the virtues of blue and gold spandex. He starred at the ceiling, his expression twisting with exasperation. Son of a...

With a weary sigh, he got out of bed and turned the lights back on. Might as well put on another pot, then.
