Geez3r
Part 1 of the Invasion starring: Jack of All Blades Colt Grimlakin Fulcrum Sarah Prescot Let me have a post for you arriving on scene and then roll initiative. Initiative Brick, Titan, House (1d20+0=6, 1d20+2=5, 1d20+1=17) House 17 Brick 6 Titan 5 Link to comment
Gizmo
Initiative. (1d20+9=17) (For the sake of argument, Vince knows Jack's true identity, since he tracked him down in the original Interceptors thread. That brings the list to him, presumably Doktor Archeville, by extension, Ellie, Fulcrum and Ace Danger.) Link to comment
Taar
Sarah's Initiative Roll (1d20+5=9) Link to comment
Dariusprime
Initiative Greenback Thread (1d20+1=8) Sorry, I'm here. :) Link to comment
Dariusprime
Listening to chat, now I'm getting excited. Colt is up, right? :D Link to comment
quotemyname
Nope, still waiting on Grim's initiative and entry post. 21 is very beatable. Link to comment
Heritage
Nope, still waiting on Grim's initiative and entry post. 21 is very beatable. One would think so, wouldn't one? Init: 1d20+12=21 But no! I think she might go first due to insane Dex, but I could be wrong. Link to comment
Geez3r
21 Colt - Unharmed - HP x7 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x5 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 House - Unharmed 9 Sarah Prescott - Unharmed - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Unharmed - HP x3 6 Brick - Unharmed 5 Titan - Unharmed 2 HP for everyone. JoAB gets a bonus HP for his "West Ender" complication. I don't care who posts first, Grim or Colt. You both go on the same effective initiative order. So whoever gets to it first, gets to it first. quotemyname
I'll make this simple. After arriving on scene, Colt will delay until after Jack of all Blades. You're move, Grim. Link to comment
Heritage
To hit: 1d20+12=15 Okay, I hate missing with my opening attack in a thread, so I'm gonna blow my first HP now. Reroll to hit: 1d20+12+10=23 Hmm, was I overreacting? Would a 15 have actually hit a giant? Link to comment
Geez3r
Nope it wouldn't have hit. What's the DC? Something you should include in your roll notes btw. Along with any sort of trade-off feats like Power Attack and such. Link to comment
Heritage
Sorry, a bad habit. Claws: DC 23/Toughness (25 w/ Sneak Attack) And Grim's got the feats that her Strength and attacks are not reduced at this small size, so at that distance it would look like his skin just opened up on its own accord  Since we're at the start of combat, is Mister Fishstick considered to be flat-footed, I hope I hope? Link to comment
Geez3r
Yeah, he's flat footed, these guys aren't exactly quick on the uptake. House toughness save vs Tiny Grim claws, DC 25 (1d20+14=16) Fail by 9, bruised and stunned. 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x5 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x7 17 House - Bruised x1, Stunned until 21 9 Sarah Prescott - Unharmed - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Unharmed - HP x3 6 Brick - Unharmed 5 Titan - Unharmed Link to comment
quotemyname
I'll make this simple. After arriving on scene, Colt will delay until after Jack of all Blades. Jack's turn, now. Link to comment
Gizmo
Jack makes a DC 33 Feint against the monster headed for the train as a move action, and uses Set-Up to transfer the benefits to Colt. He then uses his standard action for a DC 33 Taunt against the same beast. Link to comment
Geez3r
Those are impossible checks for the monster. He is both flat footed and taunted into oblivion. Link to comment
quotemyname
In that case, I'm going to hurt him now. Autofire 3 Power Attack 5; Base DC 28 + auto fire; Max DC 36 (1d20+14=33) Appropriate critical hit is appropriate. Just in time for the crowning moment of awesome. That's a DC 41. Yummy. Geez3r
Brick Toughness save vs Colt barrage DC 41 (1d20+15=33) 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x5 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x7 17 House - Bruised x1, Stunned until 21 9 Sarah Prescott - Unharmed - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Unharmed - HP x3 6 Brick - Bruised x1, Shaken, Stunned until 17 5 Titan - Unharmed Link to comment
Taar
Sarah spends a HP to heroic feat Power Attack, then teleport onto the House's back and stab it Attack roll with Power Attack 5 (1d20+5=13) Toughness DC 28 Link to comment
Geez3r
House Toughness save vs Sarah PA 5, DC 28 (1d20+13=22) Bruised and Stunned. 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x5 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x7 17 House - Bruised x2, Stunned until 9 9 Sarah Prescott - Unharmed - HP x2 8 Fulcrum - Unharmed - HP x3 6 Brick - Bruised x1, Shaken, Stunned until 17 5 Titan - Unharmed So now it's time for the only hero to have a Damage trade-off to go up to the plate. Link to comment
Dariusprime
I feel so alone. All-Out/Power +5/-5, Charge Attack vs Brick (1d20+10=15) Fulcrum is charging into the armored bug Brick and switching her array to Immovability 9 (Extra: Unstoppable +1) for the hit. Hopefully that is legal. DC 32 Toughness. Her Defense is tanked to 11. :smash: Link to comment
Geez3r
Sorry for making you wait, I thought I had gotten to this earlier. Brick Toughness save vs Fulcrum Charge DC 32 (1d20+12=17) Boo. No Round 1 KO's - GM Fiat Brick Toughness save vs Fulcrum Charge DC 32, GM Fiat reroll (1d20+12=31) My Turn! Brick Atk Roll vs Fulcrum DEF 11, AoA 5/PA 5 DC 33 Tough (1d20+7=21) yep. Good thing you switched to Immovable or you might have been smacked into the Maveric. And hey, 3 of the heroes are clumped all nice and close together. The Titan picks up a good size chunk of the building a hurls it at JoAB, Colt, Fulcrum and the Brick. Titan Atk roll w/building vs Colt, JoAB, the Maveric, Fulcrum & Brick, AoA 5, DC 31 (1d20+11=15) Misses by a mile. However, due to the AoE nature of giant attacks, if that would hit anyone on a 19, but miss on 15, it still hits them. If that's the case, make a DC 19 Reflex save for half damage. Brick Toughness save vs Building DC 31 (1d20+11=21) ... Screw it, I'll keep it. Oh, and now there's a building on the tracks of the incoming train. Have a HP for the set back. 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x7 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x8 17 House - Bruised x2, Stunned until 9 9 Sarah Prescott - Unharmed - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Unharmed - HP x5 6 Brick - Bruised x3, Shaken, Staggered, Stunned until 5 5 Titan - Unharmed Link to comment
Gizmo
Are Jack and Colt subject to Colt's Drive check for Defense or anything, since they're in the MAVERIC? Link to comment
