Voluntary synesthesia

Synesthesia is the state where your senses involuntarily cross. You can smell how someone looks or hear how they smell. What I'm asking, is there a way to make one sense double as another? Particularly olfactory for visual and auditory.

Sorta. Add Accurate and Acute to your Olfactory senses, they're as good as Vision & Auditory. You can be blinded (either by a Dazzle attack or being in an Visual Obscure field, or by simply closing your eyes), but still function fine in combat and other situations, able to target and distinguish things as well with your smell/taste as you could with vision.
