NothingToSeeHere Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Hey guys, You probably don't remember me, but I created a character some time ago (Oddball PL6 Villain), but for various reasons, he never really got off the ground campaign wise. Anyway, I'd like to give it another go, if possible. So, can anyone tell me what the protocol is for resurrecting a character from the depths of the archive are? It looks like I will need to reevaluate the character sheet a little bit, just to bring him up to PL7 105pp. Should I make a new post in the Character Bank forum, or can a moderator move the thread back to the Character Bank from the archive?
Dr Archeville Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Welcome back! You do realize we're not doing PC Villains anymore, right? I can un-archive him, but in addition to amping him up to PL 7, he'd need to reform and become a heroic type of character.
NothingToSeeHere Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 No, I did not realize that. Hmmm ... maybe I should submit a different character then. Does that mean I'm back to square one? Meaning, I have two character slots available, one PL10 and one PL7?
Dr Archeville Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Indeed so. And be sure to check the House Rules thread, we have changed some things since you were last here.
NothingToSeeHere Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 So be it, then. On a side note, is it possible to use my original villain PCas an NPC villain? If so, should I boost him up to PL7 105pp?
N/A Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 You can turn Oddball into an NPC villain, and you can submit an edit request to upgrade him, but you don't have to do either one. If you actually earned any PP with Oddball, then your next character gets those PP as a bonus. It was a one-time offer to all the villain players - there was effectively no loss of XP, nor loss of progress toward Gold/Platinum/Diamond Status.
