Agent A Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Just wanted to see if this was still open; coming up for a reason for Carter to be there would be easy. I just didn't want to butt in if you were full or what's going on is out of his league.
Aoiroo Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 I'm not full, I'm just curious how a struggling hero who was recently homeless would afford to attend a play. He wouldn't be backstage since he has no preforming, carpentry, crafting, acting, or technolical skill and living where he is and assuming he does regular night prowls it's a bit out of his way. Also, if your saying a temp agency might of assigned him there as either a ticket booth worker, usher, or someone who runs concessions it's hard to say that a large opera house wouldn't have already set up well paid disginated back ups, as well as the fact that the simple place he lives would automatically discount him from being hired at a venue where people might have valuables(it sounds harsh, but where one's from does greatly effect how the hiring business sees you). Given, dispite all that there might be some set of coincidences that might involve him showing up, and even if their aren't it would be nice to have someone to play with on this.
Supercape Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 If this is still open, then Supercape would like to be involved. Going to a play is just the thing for a bumbling academic secret I.D! Incidently, Silhoute seems to be an expert in physics and behavioural sciences, like the Prof... any connection at the university?
Aoiroo Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 Being an expert would require a ten or twelve in that area, actually, he being good at physics and behavioral science goes with the fact that she was in theatre during high school and college(working as a stage tech) so she would have to know a good bit about both. Also, she's never been to the university, she went and got a degree from FreeSa. Anyway, yeah, Mr. Quill is welcome to attend.
Aoiroo Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 Side Note: The show's not an opera, it's a play.
Heritage Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Side Note: The show's not an opera, it's a play. Oh jeez, really? I asked in the chat and someone told me it was an opera, so I assumed it was the French opera Médée. I'll edit my post when I get a chance.
Aoiroo Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 Well I sort of didn't know their even was an Opera version of Medea, it could be that since it has the same plot as the regular Medea.
Dr Archeville Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Please remember to make an entry for this for the Timeline.
OmegaPlatinum Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hey Aoi, do you mind if I edit my post so Kurt sits next to Supercape?
Heritage Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Moira's character Divine has been retired, so I'm going to say she had to leave before the action starts, and will include an explanation in my next IC post.
Aoiroo Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 Medea is pissed and is looking for the source of the bag that unconditionally stopped her performance, Notice Check (+5 for ESP) 16 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2680054/ Carrie catches on that she needs to be hiding now. Stealth Check 17 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2680061/ Medea doesn't like being held, and tries to shake Carrie off. 0 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2680076/ Carrie is not letting go even as they fall, 14 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2680079/
OmegaPlatinum Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Sparksmith is going to stealthily move down from the Mezzanine to the ground floor to grab an open seat...which just so happens to be next to Supercape. 1d20+3 → [20,3] = (23) Ooh... nice. I'll also take 10 (Skill Mastery) on a Notice check (18) To notice Carrie on stage. I'll wait for GM answer before IC.
Aoiroo Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 Go ahead, Carrie needs someone to realize that she's not actually supposed to be their.
Aoiroo Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Roll for demons strike on Gossamer. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2683029/
OmegaPlatinum Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I'm sorry, I don't think I quite understand where the action is taking place.
Aoiroo Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 On the stage, they're all on the stage in full view of the audience. The actions involving Medea teleporting and turning techs into beetles was up above the part of the stage hidden by the tope part of the curtians where the lights are. Now they are front and center, Carrie was there, but sine Medea summoned demons that were much more interesting then she was no one really notice as she backed off the stage, turned 2D and slipped through the cracks on the wooden floor into the under area of the stage.
OmegaPlatinum Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Oh, also, should we be rolling initiatives?
