Supercape Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 OOC thread for This thread For Dragonfly, Slick, Drifter, and maybe Nick. And anybody who may want to jump in!
Fox Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Master Plan roll, DC10 (1d20 + 6=25), just to get the roll out of the way...though it'll only apply if she ends up having the few minutes (exactly how long is up to GM discretion) to do the planning.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 No problem, no rush here! That's +3 initially - although if things change, the plan may need to be abandoned!
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Not quite enough to shake them (DC 20 as they are street-tuff!)
trollthumper Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Well, let's see if Nick manages to do it: Well, that's a 30, I'd say that does it. And, just in case I need it, my Initiative is on 10.
Fox Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Force field and shield are both up. And 'cos I imagine we're going to need it shortly: Initiative (1d20 + 6=7) So much fail.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Thugs Initiative 1d20+1=8 Slick's initiative 1d20+3=22 woohoo! However, this doesn't take into account the thug has a gun at the young kid's head folks... I'm going to have to wing that as a delayed action just for this round. Depending on your descriptors and what you do, he may get a panicked shot off.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Oh and Hero Point for all due to the Kid being in danger
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 As it stands Slick 33 HP 2 Unharmed Drifter 12 HP 2 Unharmed Nick 10 HP 2 Unharmed Thugs 8 - Unharmed (But one with delayed action due to gun at head, lets call him Thug A) Dragonfly 7 HP 2 Unharmed
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Slick trying to sidle up behind Thug A making a stealth roll with +2 due to circumstance 1d20+5=14 Thugs Notice check 1d20=8 Got the drop behind Thug A, but thats it for this round.
trollthumper Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 All right, according to the chat room, Slick's not waiting and Drifter's holding, so Nick's going to spend one of those HP and stunt a new spell off his necromancy array: Nullify (machines) 10. First, to hit: 29. Yeah, I'd say that works. And, if we're doing opposed Will saves... then the guy needs to beat 15.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 And fails 1d20=10 (forgot to add +3 to make it 13) Post away IC!
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Thug's Toughness save against Drifter 1d20++2=12 As a minion, thats a KO
Agent A Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2639068/ Drifter has -2 defenses until the beginning of his next turn.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 COmbat over folks. Let the interrogation begin! Depending on your mode of interrogation, Sense Motive and Intimidate rolls. Also, Knowledge (Streetwise) if you have it.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 NIck +2 modifier for your rolls - a ghost kind of helps intimidation!
trollthumper Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Well, given the bonus, that would be a 32 on the Intimidation rolls. I think the lead guy may have wee'd himself a little.
Fox Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Untrained Knowledge (Streetwise) check about Knuckles (1d20 + 6=13)
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Dragonfly knows zip Drifter: Knuckles O'Hagan is known as an hard case bare-knuckle Irish fighter on the street.
Supercape Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Untrained Streetwise from Slick 1d20+3=4 Slick is not slick.
Supercape Posted August 7, 2010 Author Posted August 7, 2010 In case needed, Slick's disguise roll for the thug 1d10+13=18
