Worse news for him is she's just about to be attacked by some big bad - time for Nanowire to swing in on a chandelier and save the day! The chandelier breaks, Nanowire ends up falling and crushing a passing puppy, is chased throughout Freedom City by angry PETA people, who just so happen to have superpowers... Velocity, in the meantime, finds out that she's somehow pregnant with his child... despite the fact that's not physically possible. Standard soap opera stuff, really. :D
