Heritage
Its a relatively small painting, and a relatively large window - although barred, you can slip it through. Blake was intending to paint a picture for you, so it will neatly fit through the window. If you have a particularly neat way of funking a bigger one through the window, dont let me stop you! Gotcha, will do a bit of editing! Link to comment
trollthumper
Sorry for the delay. Busy weekend. And Cannonade tries to figure out if Ludd is a hypocrite or an outright malefactor. Link to comment
Supercape
Cannonade can make a sense motive roll vs DC 20 to suss out Ludd if he wishes. Ludd is fairly canny. Link to comment
trollthumper
But it appears I am even more canny, as I got a 23. Link to comment
Supercape
You are fairly sure he is being evasive about Thomas, and either knew, or suspected, he was a Robot. Link to comment
Supercape
Ok, looks like it is time to reassamble for finale. Edge and Sil are back. Grim is still with Blake but should be back soonish? Cannonade and the Cannonites are at Hyde Park, suggest thats wrapped soonish too. Link to comment
Heritage
Grim is still with Blake but should be back soonish? Oh, I didn't think I got enough samples with the tube; doesn't it make some sort of noise whan it's full? If I need to edit my post, just let me know. Link to comment

trollthumper
That's a 27 on the Fort save. Link to comment

Aoiroo
Okay, so search checks for the machine? Link to comment
Supercape
If people are searching, then search away! Alternatives are Gather Information from the Crowd there, or just Notice checks. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Right, notice check 25. Link to comment
Supercape
That will do nicely madam. The temperature drop is centred around a russian delegation. A few russian troops, a handsome young man (a noble by the looks of it), and a frail man in an iron wheelchair, who looks like a tsar or major nobility, and is deathly white and ill. A few people are trying to converse with the warmly dressed russians, but having a hard time of it. Its VERY cold. Which means... DC 10 Fort Checks for all but Grim... Link to comment
Aoiroo
11, phew, I am glad I tossed some points into Sil's fortitude. Link to comment
trollthumper
A 17 on that Fort save. Link to comment
Supercape
Just chilled then! Link to comment
Heritage
Grim got Skill Mastery on Notice for an Autocheck of 25, so I'm gonna go with that, which you said was enough for Carrie. Link to comment
Supercape
Indeed - I can't add much to what Carrie saw however - the chill is centred around the russian contingent - so much so that people are actually wafting away from them. The old man in the wheelchair looks at deaths door, deathly pale. The others, including the aristocratic young man, look quite well - immune to the cold. EDIT I just saw your post. I hadn't even considered Rasputin - but that is an absolutely awesome idea!!! EV has somewhat flexible "Steam-time" so that wouldn't be a huge problem - and it would fit with the story. Anyone have any thoughts? Link to comment
Aoiroo
That is this world he never sold out the family because they kept him on council and he's actually become an immortal thanks to dark magic and has been the families advisor for generations? Link to comment
Supercape
Actually, the end of this ties with the very beginning... Link to comment
Supercape
Ok. Big Bad is coming up. This is a one off big bad (Rasputin) who is going to die... (well, die in this guise anyway, we all know Rasputin never dies), so I can do one of two things: a) Stat him up here [its a riff on the Master of Energy Archetype from core book, but pumped up a little, making him a challenge for two PL 15s] If you all wish, you can go in "blind". In addition to the big bad, there will be lower level PLs to dispatch. As always, there are significant tricks that can be used to "win" without just pounding people to unconsciousness, both some I have though of, and some you may think of and I didn't! :D Link to comment
Heritage
I'm fine with flying blind; it's pretty much the way I go through life anyways ;) Link to comment
