Supercape Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 The voices pierced straight through Slick. He stood frozen, and trembling. Hearty as Mad Dog's laugh was, it barely registered. He was actually trembling and could barely speak. "S...s..something real bad's down here. I'm scared. R....r...real scared..." As if to emphasise the point, the wind howled once more, and the voices echoed there horrible warnings. And this time, there was a horrible creaking sound, of old bones shifting against one another.
Lone Star Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 "Pull it together, Slick. It's time to kick some zombie ass." He cracked his knuckles and neck. He never thought he'd be beating zombies up with his bare hands. Gregory knew he'd have to give himself one hell of a hand washing when this was all over. He hoped his super-buddy wasn't out for the count already.
Supercape Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 "Gah...gah..." croaked Slick, coated with a sheen of sweaty oil that represented the terror he was barely containing. Again, there was the sound of cracking bones and groaning voices. He nearly jumped out of his skin, his nerves now completely shredded. "Look out!" he yelped, as his flashlight streaked behing Mad Dog, revealing for an instant a lumbering figure, all bones and rotting flesh.
Supercape Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 Galvanised by fear, Slick lashed out crudely with his foot, trying to knock the pile of bones and flesh that had loomed behind Mad Dog. He could smell them now, all around. Whilst fear certainly lead to action, it didn't lead to style. His kick was completely ineffective, driven with no thought other than to feebly push the thing away. He swallowed a scream.
Lone Star Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Mad Dog cracked his knuckles. He was ready for them. He spun around and delivered a high-powered punch right at the skeleton's head! "Take this, you bag of bones. Who says you need a chainsaw to fight zombies, anyway?" Mad Dog said with a wide grin on his face.
Supercape Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 GM The recipient of Mad Dog's crunching blow simply caved in, the sound of breaking bones filling the dig. A horrible sucking sound followed, as the animated corpse collapsed into a heap. The emotionless sacks of rotting flesh that followed where unphased, and merely lunged in a crude but nevertheless fast and powerful manner at Mad Dog. The flailing limbs were however, easily fended off.
Supercape Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Slick responded by shuffling away, still sweating and trembling in fear. He could barely speak. As the three remaining zombies encircled Mad Dog, he finally found some courage. Damned if he was going to let his partner get eaten alive! Shaking, he stepped forward and swung his fist at one of the corpses. Fear remained his master, and he stumbled and swung wide. Get a grip! he cursed to himself.
