Heridfel Posted February 14, 2008 Author Posted February 14, 2008 I mentioned this to Heritage in the chat, but I'd like to move towards returning to the present. There's a PC waiting for us to come back in order to be introduced to the game, and I feel bad since I had thought he'd be in during the first week of February. My current plan is to give Grimalkin a chance to meet her grandfather this evening and get further clues as to where they might find Icarus. The next morning, Icarus, Grimalkin, and Nanowire return to the present. Teke is marooned in time for a little longer before Tom Tomorrow comes along to help set things right. Does anyone have objections to this? I really like the characterization I've seen in this thread, and I don't want to lose that, but there should be plenty to do in the present as well.

Veiled Malice Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 No problem, but this is going to totally ruin this joke I just heard today. Okay, stop me if you've heard this one before. A Christian, a Jew, and a Shintoist get hurled back in time by an unknown gravitic incursion into the Nth wavelength of the parachronic spectrum... :D

Veiled Malice Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I'm confused. Ren isn't going with Sean and Lynn?

Heritage Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I'm confused. Ren isn't going with Sean and Lynn? Ok, maybe I misread the last two posts, but what I got was Mr. Parker saying, "Sean can take care of her, you would have to bring your suit with you to make her as safe as my son could" and Ren agreeing so as to not offend his hosts; was I comepletly wrong in my interpretation?

Veiled Malice Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 No, I just thought he'd be going along with, sans armor.

Heridfel Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Worlds of Freedom is out on PDF. Will Herid Fel have the ability to resist purchasing it that way, given that he will be buying it in hardcover? This question and more to be answered over the coming week. :)

Veiled Malice Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I think Ren might be crossing the line between "nervous would-be boyfriend" and "cartoony". :)

Heridfel Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 And there's Icarus' return to the present. I'll hold there until you guys also return; we all end up coming back to the same time and place (though some things will have changed. )

Veiled Malice Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Could Ren make an INT check or something to figure out what to do? I'm a little lost here. (I was never very good at riddles. )

Heridfel Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 Sure. The Int check won't solve it for you, but I'll provide more hints if it ends well.

Veiled Malice Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Well, it's a 15. Good, but not spectacular. Considering I started with a 3 though, it's not bad.
