Grotesque Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Although a bit apprehensive at first, fighting this new opponent... felt right? Suzaku focused and gave into the emotions and feeling the power of the two warrior's were giving off. Fire and darkness, coming together in the joy of battle. This is it... With almost inhuman reaction time Razorwing leaped at Suzaku trying to drive a kick deep... Suzaku froze just for a second watching the kick strike dead on... But a sudden flare of his Chi Aura blocked the strike from hitting cushioning it so no damage got through. We must NOT let something like that happen again... Seeing that the kick left his opponent with his back to him Suzaku took advantage of his foolishness. Stepping up he does a backflip swinging his right foot square into Razorwing's back... Landing on his feet facing his enemy, Suzaku mutters, "Do NOT turn your back on me again..."
ex3lev3n Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 The young vigilante stumbled forward from Suzaku's attack, though he quickly regained his footing. "Do NOT turn your back on me again..." Razorwing scolded himself for his lapse of judgement. He assumed his kick would have laid his opponent low, but he was obviously no common fighter, and he repaid Razorwing's strike in kind. He underestimated Suzaku's fighting prowess, and he would not make the same mistake again. He drew a handful of shuriken from his utility belt, spun around, and unleashed a hail of metal stars at Suzaku. His aim was true, though the Vermillion Bird's aura flared as the shuriken struck him. Kamisorihane let it's host know it's displeasure with a soul-scathing shriek. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Better end this fast.
Grotesque Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 With his Chi aura blazing around him, Suzaku took the young man's shurikens in stride. Filled with a firey passion for this fight, he said through gritted teeth... "To beat me... your going... to have to do... BETTER!" With that Suzaku jumped at Razorwing, arm pulled back for an open-palmed strike... Missing the black clad figure, Suzaku still put a rather decent sized hole in the wall by where he was stand just a moment ago...
ex3lev3n Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Razorwing ducked beneath the palm-strike as drywall rained down on his shoulders. With a quick tuck-and-roll behind Suzaku, he came up with an idea. Remove the night-vision goggles and this fight is over! With expert execution, the young hero grabs at his opponent from behind as he stands up from his dodge, sure of his own ability to grapple the man in black. It took all of his self-discipline not to curse out loud when his arms wrapped around thin air. Wary of a counter-attack, Razorwing dove back in a somersault, landing at the opposite end of the room.
Grotesque Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Suzaku watched the man named Razorwing duck and tumble behind him. Twirling to the side he dodged the outstreached arms reaching for him. Ugh... guy's got some moves I'll give him that... Following his opponent across the room Suzaku stopped the chi flow to his fists, knowing that it would interfere with what he was planning next... After Razorwing finally stops moving he's greeted by a large right cross from Suzaku's fist. Feeling it connect Suzaku grabs him and skillfully hold onto his arms and legs successfully bounding his opponent in a submission hold. Suzaku's arms around his neck trying to make Razorwing pass out, to bring this fight to an end.
ex3lev3n Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 Suzaku's punch connected with Razorwing's jaw with the impact of a bag of bricks, dazing the younger hero. He was barely aware of his opponent's arms wrapping around his neck. When his vision cleared he found that they were both on the ground, his weakened body pinned by Suzaku's skill. Then he noticed he wasn't getting any air, and for a moment, he thought he had finally met his match. But Razorwing was not the type to give up so easily, nor was Kamisorihane content with such a lackluster display on the part of it's host. He would take a few moments to rest, to gather his wits, and to figure out a way from the Vermillion Bird's grasp.
Grotesque Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Suzaku pulled harder on his opponent's neck trying to make him surrender, or pass out from the strain. Feeling Razorwings somewhat limp form tense up slightly, Suzaku quickly slipped one hand off his neck. Lashing out with a quick jab to Razorwing's ribs, Suzaku whispered into his ear... "Just submit now Kamisorihane, you've lost this fight from the moment it began..." Putting his arm back around Razorwing's neck, Suzaku continued to try and choke him out...
ex3lev3n Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 "Just submit now Kamisorihane, you've lost this fight from the moment it began..." "You're good," Razorwing uttered through gritted teeth as he broke Suzaku's hold and rolled to his feet to the opposite corner of the room, "but not as good as you think!" With that, Razorwing rushed forward with his arms trailing behind him and performed a reverse cartwheel kick to the Vermillion Bird's chin.
Grotesque Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Suzaku opened his mouth to say something before it was forcefully shut... hard… by Razorwing’s foot meeting his jaw. With pain flaring up from his now sore jaw, Suzaku’s aura started flaring up more then ever before. With a determined look flashing in his eyes, Suzaku swung out with a powerful roundhouse punch... before suddenly twirling and flipping into a handstand! Hoping that it would catch Razorwing off guard, Suzaku lashed out with a powerful heel kick. The kick moved fast enough that it seemed to be just a fiery blur. Suzaku felt his kick connect, though not as well as he would of liked. Suzaku knew that even though he hadn’t landed any truly solid blows, his opponent had to be fairly badly hurt at this point.
ex3lev3n Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 The heel kick struck Razorwing square on the collar bone, crimson embers of hi fire exloding onto his chest, neck, and face. Razorwing stumbled back, reeling from the relentless attack of the Vermillion Bird. He was tired and weak, his body ablaze with agony. He wanted to just call it uits: after all, he came to put Hua Ling behings bars, and Suzaku had already taken care of that. Sensing it's host's apprehension at continuing the encounter. Kamisorihane loosed a soul-shattering shriek, threatening to drown Razorwing with primal fear if he refused to fight. Alright... one more time! gathering his remaining strength, the young vigilante rushes towards the wall, leaps onto it to run alongside it (and avoiding the Hua Ling-sized hole) and jumps over Suzaku's head, lashing out with a boot to headas he passed and landed in a crouch.
Grotesque Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Suzaku followed Razorwing's movements as the younger hero ran along the wall and flipped through the air. Watching the boot come at his head the Vermillion Bird smirked as it connected held back by his vermillion aura. Impressed that the other combatant was still able to stand and move after taking the repeated heavy blows. Lashing out with a quick jab he was surprised to find that he was hitting open air. "You have already taken far more abuse then you should have. Just give up and spare yourself any further from my hands." With that Suzaku eased into a stance ready in case his offer was turned down yet again.
ex3lev3n Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 "Dude, you can hand out a beating, I'll give you that. But if you think I'm just gonna walk aw..." his words trailed off as his mask's commlink beeped. He had it scan for police bands as soon as he approached the bookstore. Raising his left hand to his temple, he activated the device and listened for a few seconds before dropping his hand. Looks like it's your lucky day. Cops are down the street. They'll be here in thirty seconds." He had no reason to stick around for the fuzz, and Hua Ling wasn't going anywhere. Kamisorihane screamed for the blood of it's enemy, but Razorwing ignored it. Suzaku was a good guy, and a competent fighter. Just the sort of person he'd been scouting. He pulled a zippo-sized item from his utility belt and tossed it to Suzaku.
Grotesque Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Suzaku caught the item out of the air, glancing down at it he gives it a cautious glance over. Not sure what he's looking at Suzaku, confused, looks back at Razorwing. Pausing slightly, he began setting things up for the police that were coming, leaving them any evidence he gathered during his note taking, and recording. Keeping one eye on Razorwing the whole time he says, in a more relaxed tone of voice, "Soooo... What's that thingie supposed to be for?"
ex3lev3n Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 "Multi-frequency commlink. Keep it on you. If you ever need a hand, I'm just a call away," he said in a more civil tone. Even though Kamisorihane was livid with his refusal to continue battling Suzaku, he felt a sort of kinship with the martial artist. "Expect to hear from me soon." With that, Razorwing merged with the shadows, leaving Suzaku to finish his business.
Grotesque Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Glancing down again at the comlink... "Wait a multi-frequency what?" Looking back up Suzaku saw that the man known as Razorwing was gone. Shrugging to himself, he pockets the device and goes back to work readying the scene for the cops before making his exit... Mere Seconds Later... The police rush into the building finding the various criminals knocked out, a recording of part of their conversation, and hand writen notes about various businesses they dabbled in. With no sign of the person or persons responcible... except for a message in large letters, left on a wall... Suzaku was totally here kicking they asses!!!
