Supercape
Its enough! well, perhaps not enough to get them to psychologically crumble, but they certainly ain't gonna fight! Link to comment
Aoiroo
Paralyze, in the form of an illusion, will saves for them not to be caught, they can only make one move if they are caught, they cannot move at all if they fail the save by five or more. two cultists, two saves 14 and 26 Link to comment
Supercape
Its an area attack so auto hit. However, they get a reflex save to halve the rank of the attack... vs DC 20... 1d20+0=7, 1d20+0=1 No surprise there. So, will saves to resist the paralyse. As they are minions, any failure means maximum effect. 1d20+2=14, 1d20+2=21 Good lord, the non-speaker has made it! However, on the grand scale of things, they are broken. They aren't going to fight back unless its life or death. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Threatening for information now, 23. Link to comment
Aoiroo
DC 25 will save for a cutlass in the chest. Link to comment
Supercape
His fanatic will is inspiring! 1d20+2=21 As a minion, effect is for you to determine. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Well being impaled with extreme predjudice is hardly something many people can will against. Anyway, if Etain reads the book would she make out anything Quentin might miss with an arcane knowledge roll? Link to comment
Supercape
Yes: the wardstones are definately related to the centuries old pact. It they are used - not broken - but used - the contract will be sealed. Link to comment
Aoiroo
By sealed do you mean activated, or unable to be completed. Link to comment
Supercape
Heh - yes, I mean activated. By implication, destroying them will nullify the contract. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Doesn't that mean they basically stopped them from stopping the contract? Given, they might of accidently activated the contracts in there quest. Link to comment
Supercape
Doesn't that mean they basically stopped them from stopping the contract? Given, they might of accidently activated the contracts in there quest. The principle here is that a few centuries ago, the Vatican made a pact with Una: for her help in destroying "witchcrafte". The pact would allow Una to circumnavigate her vow not to directly attack earth (somehow). The pact was sealed in several wardstones, and never actually completed. However, some breakaway cultists from the Vatican have no decided to rid the world of "witchcrafte" once and for all, and intend to use the wardstones to complete the pact. Is that kind of semi-logical? :? Link to comment
Aoiroo
I'm guessing it is an indirect attack if she is attacking certian residents of the earth. Anyway, Etain has already gone into the sewers. Link to comment
Supercape
It is indeed an indirect attack! Link to comment
Supercape
Ok, So Supercape is Powerstunting with Extra Effort: Environmental Control (Bright Light), Perception Range, Continuous. This allows him Rank 28 in the Power - more than enough. Its 100,000 foot, so basically he can illuminate at his hearts content. He is fatigued. Not going to burn off an HP yet. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Etain has already proceeded down the sewers. Also, Supercape has learned Flash! Link to comment

Aoiroo
So, what happens now, disguise check? Notice check for the book or the totem(if that is what that statue is). Link to comment
Supercape
Knowledge [Arcane] Check for the Totem DC 20 would be good. As for disguise check: If Etains Concealment power is up, we are invisible. If not, then it would need some disguise checks from Etain and SC... Link to comment
Aoiroo
Concealment is up. Take ten on arcane lore to get the twenty DC. Link to comment
Supercape
In which case, the totem is carved in the fashion of some shape changing demon. As with many elder demons, knowing its "true name" would give power of it. Something about it references Una. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Not sure what type of check a shove it, attack or something. Link to comment
