Flare Knight
OOC for this thread Denton's Initiative, 7+4=11 Dallas' Initiative, 18+18=36 Powerhouse's Initiative, 11+0=11 I decided to just get it out of the way. Link to comment
JackgarPrime
Welp, Victory's always on patrol, and he knows trouble when he sees it. And he likes to put it down ASAP, so he's gonna enter battle right from the start with a SURPRISE ROUND! From high up in the sky, he's gonna take a move action with his default All-Flight Array, then switch it to Flight 5/Strike 11, and do an All-Out + Power Attack on Dallas. Victory's Surprise All-Out Power Attack. (1d20+5=13) Just enough to hit her flat-footed, at Defense +2 That's DC 36 Toughness for the poor girl. Link to comment
Flare Knight
12+2=14 She is Unconscious and flies back for, as my calculations of the chart say, 47 Miles. Link to comment
JackgarPrime
12+2=14 She is Unconscious and flies back for, as my calculations say, 47 Miles. Just to double-check the math: Damage (before Power Attack) + 16 + 2 for Knockback 2 - 1 for Dallas' Toughness = 17 Progression = 250,000 feet So...close enough! Link to comment
JackgarPrime
Well now that Dallas is done for, and they're too far away for Victory to Takedown over to the other villain, might as well roll initiative! Victory's Initiative (1d20+5=21) Wow, Victory FINALLY gets a good init roll for once! Link to comment
JackgarPrime
Alright, so on his first proper turn, Victory's gonna Charge Denton, once more with All-Out and Power Attack, putting his Attack at +8 for the turn (and lowering his Defense to +6) Charge All-Out Power Attack (1d20+8=14) He's still flat-footed, right? So that should be enough to hit him? That'd mean DC 36 Toughness for Denton. Link to comment
Flare Knight
Denton fails his Toughness save with a 20V36 After discussion, I will Fiat this roll and give Victory a Hero Point. Denton Fails his Toughness save with a 26 V 36 and is Staggered and Stunned Link to comment
Flare Knight
Powerhouse's attack on the Stunned Denton hits on 21 V 12 Denton's Save V 34, gets 27, is Stunned and takes a Bruise Link to comment
JackgarPrime
Well, poor Denton's just gonna get punched over and over in his stunned, Staggered, Bruised state, so Victory's gonna let the guy off (relatively) easy and speed him over to the AEGIS base, where they can slap some nullifier cuffs on him and keep him in containment. He's fast enough to get anywhere in the city, and has Move-By action, so he can just pick him up in the middle of his movement. Link to comment
