Standard Action: Auto-30 Startle w/ Skill Mastery vs. Otaku.

Surge: Another Standard Action.

Free Action: Gadgets!

Damage 18 (Extras: Linked [Drain], Ranged, Flaws: Action [Full Action], Limited [Objects], Limited [Electronics]) [6PP]

Drain Toughness 18 (Extras: Affects Objects, Linked [Damage], Ranged, Flaws: Action [Full Action], Limited [Objects], Limited [Electronics]) [9PP]

Reduced Ranged Attack 1 [-1PP]

(The last bit's on there to put him at +8 Attack/+18 DC, which is within his potential trade-offs.)

Full Action: Attack Otaku (or rather, his suit): EMP Cannon. (1d20+8=13)

Ew. Well, lemme know if 13 hits him flat-footed, otherwise:

EMP Cannon reroll. (1d20+8=14) Sheesh. So 26 with the +10.

That'd be a DC 28 save on the Drain Toughness, and a DC 33 save on the Damage.

Right then. Per my earlier post, Array is currently on Drain Toughness, Affects Objects Only.

With Luck 3 now in effect due to edits, that's 3 HP. This will be important in a moment.

Move Action: Step up next to Midnight. The contrast of white and black is so thematic, don't you think? ;)

Standard Action: Attack Roll: 17+10=27. That's a Ranged Attack, FYI. So he's got a DC 21 Reflex (since it's for the Object) Save, and it's a Rank 11 power.

Surge!: Burn a HP to keep the fatigue away.

Free Action: Switch Array to Emotion Control.

Standard Action: Emotion Control! DC 21 Will Save from Otaku. The Emotion is Fear. Specifically, Fear of this little group of Heroes.

Hmm. I should have had you specify what the Array was set to before the combat started, but since I didn't bring that up, I'll let you go with this! (After all, _fighting_ Otaku isn't the important thing here...)

10 That's a failure, and it loses 11 Toughness. His Shao Kahn armor with real working Hellfire Control, Oh No!

31 Will save! Otaku isn't scared of you!
