Fox Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Near as I can tell (correct me if I've missed something): ROUND ONE: 21 - Nick Cimitiere, 1HP - unharmed 19 - Dragonfly, 1HP - unharmed 16 - Knuckles - unharmed 13 - Slick, 1HP - unharmed 9 - goon - unharmed Knuckles just went, so Slick should be up.
Supercape Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Well spotted! I should pay more attention to the thread I am [apparently ] GMing! sorry for that! Anyway, Kung Fu time from Slick on Knuckles 1d20+9=12 Isn't going anywhere! Goon retaliates with some automatic fire on Dragonfly who appears to be the only competent target at the moment! 1d20+5=14 is also a miss (was firing into melee too so a -4 penalty). Nick up next round 2.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 And Nick manifests Ereshkigal's Talons, cancelling the partial grapple effect and... seriously? Time for that Hero Point! Much better. Knuckles has to make a DC29 Toughness save.
Fox Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Bad Goon! No shooty! Ranged Attack Roll vs. Goon (blast) (1d20 + 9=29) ...bwahahahaha. Well, if he's a minion, that's an auto-KO. If he's not, I'll go right ahead and go for the straight DC bonus: DC29 Toughness.
trollthumper Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Well, SC, what does Nick see in the ghosts? Relief? Gratitude? Or a continuing need for vengeance?
Supercape Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 The need for Crack! Other than that, as you see fit, you have narrative control. They are pretty addled things.
trollthumper Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 And yes, there is precedent for what Nick's doing here. He also has a Benefit (which I really now might be better represented as a Feature) reflecting the fact that he knows a lot of these minor rituals.
trollthumper Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Should I make a Gather Information roll here, SC? Or is this the kind of thing only Knowledge (streetwise) (which I don't have, for some weird reason) would cover?
Supercape Posted March 15, 2011 Author Posted March 15, 2011 Well, I think this is kind of the wrap for the thread. Comments at the end can be for a hook to a follow on thread if you so desire?
trollthumper Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 All right, then. I'll just have Nick say what he knows.
