Barnum Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Guys, I just got a text from Lilac that basically said she was going to be unable to return to the site for some time and asked that I archive her characters. It is up to you guys how you want to handle writing Droplet out of the story (for now?).
Veiled Malice Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Well, that's a problem. Wasn't her family the people we were going to hit up for our base of operations? Without her, we're somewhat stuck for a direction to go in.
cosmicarus Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 It's ok We can all make it out to the treehouse if you like and pause the game there, to be re-opened on the event of Lilac's reappearance? Hope everything is ok.
Barnum Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 Or . . . we could send Droplet off to find her parents while we press on with whatever we end up doing. Then, if she returns, we can meet back up. If not, we can look for another base or something. I've got tons of unused PPs, I could spend on equipment.
Barnum Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 For now, lets just put Droplet on "autopilot" until we reach a good point to write her out of this thread.

Barnum Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 One more round of posting and we should be on our way to you, Cos. :)
cosmicarus Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 No problems at all, take your time I'm enjoying the interchange.
Barnum Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 That was the worst character write-out ever . . . :|
Heridfel Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Nah. If you had her explode like a drummer from Spinal Tap, that would be the worst write out ever (until I think of something worse).
cosmicarus Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Nah. If you had her explode like a drummer from Spinal Tap, that would be the worst write out ever (until I think of something worse). Don't forget Poochie's unlikely exit from 'Itcy and Scratchy'!
Barnum Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 Where do you guys want to go from here? I'm up for anything (as long as its slow. ).
cosmicarus Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Where do you guys want to go from here? I'm up for anything (as long as its slow. ). Hmm, good question. Perhaps the circus folk have tracked us somehow? Ninja acrobats! Or a new mission? Missing friend? Maybe we need to find a base?
Barnum Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 I have more circus bad guys, if that is what you guys wanted. We just need a more interesting "set piece" for the fight. How about on the top of a speeding train (elevated train), in downtown freedom. I've got some crazy rules for that. Any thoughts on why we might go downtown? Looking for Droplet maybe?
Veiled Malice Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Wow, I was just thinking about trains as a battle site. Either that, or some sort of crazy weather condition. On the reason why we might be doing something so suicidally dangerous, I'd have to go with some sort of catastrophe. Or a shopping trip. Hey, Daisuke can't keep going around in whatever the circus dressed him up in all the time. :)
Barnum Posted March 31, 2008 Author Posted March 31, 2008 Shopping trip works for me, but we are going to have to figure out how to pass the night. Is this a school night? If it is, I could ditch school the next day (with dad at work) and take the boys shopping. And if so, we probably should start a new thread, but first we need to decide how to wrap this up.

Yeah, school night! Before we skip, we can stay up late, watch movies and talk about boys! Er, I mean, wanna crash at my house? I don't think mum is up to much.
Veiled Malice Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 How about this for another idea: Daisuke is going to want to track down Nanowire at some point, (he has a serious case of hero worship going on) so we could try to find him. It won't be easy, as Nanowire keeps a fairly low profile - when he's not flattening restaurants - but that will give us a place to work from, and a nice sentimental moment when the two are reunited. What does everyone think?
cosmicarus Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 That sounds good! Perhaps we can seek Nanowire out thinking that he's a hero, only to be disappointed in the end? That's hat leads us to form out own team?
Veiled Malice Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 *V_M bobbles ball, tossing it haphazardly to himself as he stumbles around.* Crash! "...Oops."
