Circus Freaks (OOC)

I posted but I kept the details sketchy. Read my post, B, and let me know if you approve of everything so far. If yes, then we can 1) wait for Gaea to drop, 2) wait for Entropy and Deadboy to show up, or 3) find a way to start the freaks interacting now.

I also assumed that Droplet's tank keeps her in such solitude that she hasn't met the other freaks yet, and the "new arrival" is VM's boy.

I can change any of that if I need to.

It all looks fine to me.

Cos, Darla will just fly along to wherever you are headed. I'd be just fine if we made it to the circus in the next round of posting. :D

The life form Dale is tracking could very well be one of the freaks, if they're interested. This could fast track the story somewhat. This doesn't necessarily have to be so, I just wanted to check with you guys. In either case, he's on his way to the circus - having sensed something he hasn't before; if not a freak, then a rather fascinating camel.

Well, it can't be Mashin-kun. As he has no CON score, he is not considered "alive" in game terms. It might be Droplet though, and I'm thinking she and Daisuke could strike up a conversation while waiting for Dead Boy and Entropy.

For when do you wish me to start posting...

I've been thinking of Gael's daily life in the circus....I imagine he's part of the sideshow.

VM, your posts have me confused. I think you are operating off of a completely different back-story of the circus than I am? Unless I have it wrong.

Barnum, any help here?

VM is definitely putting a different spin on it than I intended. It may work out just fine though.

Since everyone here is either an "insider" or a Staff Member, I'll just post the blurb here. It's the same that I PMed you Lilac and the same that I posted in the Staff Forum.

Since the first day of the first month of the first year of the beginning of the last century an unknown number of super-powered humans were born. An evil scientist (wizard?), known only by the name "Goresh," has been hunting them down and killing these "centennials" and their descendants (who also have superpowers to varying degrees), for reasons known only to himself. The Jèze family has made it their life's work to track down these special people and protect them from Goresh. The circus is just a cover, a place of mutual protection and an excuse to travel the world in search of these special people.

Oh crap. Yeah, that's a problem, alright. I thought the circus people were the bad guys, not the good guys.

This is, however, not a horrible difficulty. We can just say that Daisuke is under lock and key "for his own safety". And the safety of others, from the posts I've been making.

If this will work, let me know. If not... well, then I guess you should let me know too.

I think that works. Droplet also has expressed that the conditions were less than ideal. I think a lot of the difficulties fit nicely under "for you own protection."
