Lone Star Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 Warlock flies forward as the huge man pats him on the back. "Thanks, El Sapo! You were pretty awesome yourself. So, another heroic team-up sometime?" Warlock said as he pulled out his cell phone, which was full of Freedom City's finest heroes...digits. "Unless you don't like cell phones in costume...you can just put up the Warlock signal. Just call the mayor, he'll know what to do."
Limos Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 "Si, if you ever need El Sapo, he will gladly come at your call." He laughs heartily and gives him the number for the phone his grandmother had told him to keep separate from his family life. So far she was the only one who had ever called him on it, but better to be prepared. "You said you are an investigator, si? I may need one of those soon, there is a man I have been looking for that you might be better able to find." Saying no more the giant of a man leaps off into the night, bounding from rooftop to rooftop.
Lone Star Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 Blake shakes his head and smiles. The man was an odd one for sure, but he had a lot of heart. Outside, the bitter wind chilled him, and he bundled his jacket closer. It was approaching midnight, and a full moon hung over the windy skies, clouds partially concealing its glow. Blake adjusted the brim of his hat and knelt down. His fingers, pale with the chill, worked over his shoelaces, and tied them tight. It wouldn't turn out well if one of them fell off mid-jump. He stood up, and clicked his heels together, and vanished.
