All right, sorry for the delay. Was waiting it out for Northstar, but as he's been absent for this long, we're surging on. I'm going to rule that the Notice checks all picked up pieces of a trail, but that Stesha managed to piece it together fastest. Geckoman and Nick Cimitiere will get there in maybe fifteen seconds, and Edge in about thirty. We're see how long it takes Doctor Titan to get there when Northstar shows up again.

I'd like to have Stesha try and use her ESP to get a look at who Rook is talking to. Are there any plants around that she could look through for a closer view?

Fleur will use Move Object to shoot a seed at Rook, trying to get it hidden in his clothes or the cuff of his pants.

First try misses, HP reroll is an 18.

On her next turn, she will make the seed sprout, just a little bit, enough to be a green little plantlet. That should take up all the time she has before her compatriots catch up. All these powers, by the way, are Subtle.

Fleur is using her turn to activate her Summon Plants power and animate five of these guys. That's her standard action, for her move action she will command them to Combine Attack whatever villain is nearest Fleur when their shared initiative comes up again.

All right, as Ecal's taking a hiatus, I'll be assuming the reins on Geckoman. He fails his save to halve against the Snare, then fails it again to escape. So... Hero Point!

On the plus side, that comes out to a 21, so he's out.

So it's Gecks' turn now. First off, he gets Regeneration, and makes the Recovery check ably. Then comes his turn:

Move Action: Feinting Gargoyle. Gecks takes 10 on the Bluff for 32, whereas Gargoyle gets a 12. Yeah, that'll leave him grasping for something.

Standard Action: Attacking Acceleranda with Geckorangs... and missing. Oh, well.

Free Action: Using Set-Up to transfer the benefits of Feint to Nick.

Maelstrom goes next. He's actually going to start the goddamn car, and then call down a lightning bolt on Geckoman. Which misses.

So it's Nick's turn, and he's going to take advantage of Gargoyle's distracted state. He'll manifest Ereshkigal's Talons and go for a good old punch in the face. And he rolls a 12, which misses. Hero Point!

Well, a 23 will work in this case. That's a DC29 for Gargoyle... who gets Stunned.

Satellite SMASH!

Gargoyle fails the Reflex save, takes another scratch on the Toughness save.

Virago beats the Reflex save, beats the modified Toughness save.

Maelstrom fails his Reflex save like whoa, gets Stunned.

Acceleranda fails her Reflex save -- seriously, the Speedster fails her Reflex save? -- and gets knocked right the hell out.

So, our two remaining villains are Stunned. Fiat time! Gargoyle shakes off his Stunned early. Everyone take a Hero Point. He then unleashes a Damage Area attack wherein stalagmites erupt out of the ground. DC26 Reflex and Toughness saves for all -- well, save Nick, who has Impervious 12 on his jacket.

Gecks makes a 26 on the Reflex save, halving Toughness to 21. He then makes his Toughness save. Now it's Gecks' turn.

Move Action: The Pitchoo arrives!

Standard Action: Splitting actions, taking 10 on defensive maneuvers (effectively giving the Pitchoo a DC18 Defense) and opening fire with the blasters on Maelstrom. Assuming I'm reading it right, he's got a +11 on the Attack roll with the blasters... which hits. Maelstrom needs to make a DC25 Toughness save... and boom goes the dynamite.
