trollthumper Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 Just to clarify... given how fast they fly, Gabriel and Equinox will likely be showing up this round. Nick will likely be showing up next round, and that's if Durand pushes it.
trollthumper Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 We still need Arcturus's Initiative. Nick, however, will be going on 7.
trollthumper Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 All right, and that matches roughly with what we have so far. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 15, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP Arc is up first.
GranspearZX Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 So it looks like I'm looking at Arc's attack for the surprise round: 1d20+10=17 ...and another one for his regular initiative: 1d20+10=15
Quinn Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 First one doesn't count due to surprise round taken earlier; second one misses. (Actually, the first one would've missed too, so eh).
trollthumper Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 That is correct. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 15, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP Equinox is up next.
Quinn Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Ok, time for Operation: Hibernate! (Yes, the guy who makes up the operation names is out sick today.) First up, Paralyzing on Arcturus! All Out Attack Paralyze! (1d20+13=21) That's +5 Attack here, -5 Defense until the next turn, DC 27 Fort save for Arcturus, followed by blowing an HP to skip the fatigue from Heroic Surge. Push then uses his TK to seize Vigourie and send him through the upstairs window (or wall, whatever Troll decides is convinient) into the waiting arms of his new comrades. Telekinesis Grapple Check (1d20+20=38) Present for you, Equinox! :D
trollthumper Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 Well, Vigourie certainly cannot beat that. Let's see if he resists hitting the turf... he does. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 15, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 1 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP As per the delay, Equinox is up next.
Quinn Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 And Arcturus is Slowed, not Paralyzed. You're up, Ecal!
Ecalsneerg Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Firstly, you'll want to change the turn order, delaying permanently shifts it. Secondly... Extra Effort on Equinox's Blast power, and as per house rules, Power Attack for 2 without the feat. So... DC 29 fire! (1d20+5=16) Wee, fire!
trollthumper Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Very well, then. Vigourie makes a 22, meaning he's now Stunned on Equinox's turn. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, Slowed, 0 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 1 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP Gabriel is up next.
KnightDisciple Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 First, Gabriel takes a move action to fly to the hotel. Since he's got like a bazillion Flight, that's no big deal. I'll spend an HP to stunt Subtle off the flight so I don't break any windows. Anyways, once he's in front of ole' Viggy, I think he'll switch the Array to....Let's go with Drain Toughness. Pretty sure a 30 hits. So that's a DC 22 Rank 12 Drain Toughness.
trollthumper Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Looks like he threw it off, sadly. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, Slowed, 0 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 1 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP Nick is up. Since he started far off from everyone else and doesn't have any handy-dandy movement powers, Durand is driving him to the motel. He'll arrive this round, but won't be able to move until the next. So it goes to Vigourie, who... does nothing. We're back at the top of the round, and Arcturus.
trollthumper Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Huh. Looks like that hits. As it's the Staff Attack, I believe Push must make a DC20 Toughness save.
Quinn Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Ouch. And with the Bruise giving me -1... DC 20 TOU save (1d20+11=23) Whew. No damage here. My turn, Push fires up the paralysis link again to shut down Arc before he hurts anyone. Paralysis Mark 2! (1d20+8=24) DC 27 Fort save, Gran.
Quinn Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 On the other hand, at least you'll have stopped whacking Push with your stick. 100% paralyzed, mate.
trollthumper Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Well, that's taken care of for now. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, Paralyzed, 0 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 1 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP Equinox is up next.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 That hits, and Vigourie is bound. Arcturus: 20, Mind Controlled, Unharmed, Paralyzed, 0 HP Push: 12, Bruised x1, Fatigued, 1 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 7, Unharmed, 0 HP Vigourie: 3, Bruised x2, Bound, 0 HP I believe Gabriel is next.
