Aoiroo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Taking ten on the minions, she attacks the first one, and will proceed to takedown attack if they don't make the DC 24.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Nope, nope, nope, and... nope. So that's the Performers down. ilhouette: 23, Unharmed, 2 HP Juggler: 23, Bruised x3, Stunned, 0 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, In Mid-Air, 5 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP Tightrope Walker: 7, Bruised x1, Stunned, Staggered, 0 HP Juggler's still Stunned, so Rene is up next.
Supercape Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Its not going to be anything flashy, another bolt of Fire... This time I will shift it +2 Damage, -2 Attack... 1d20+6=8 Misses. I will reroll 1d20+6=8 is 18, not much better but I will see how it does - even if it misses, it can home in next round.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Spending an HP, I presume? And as the Juggler's still Stunned, I'm pretty sure that hits. He makes a 19 on the Toughness save, meaning he's Stunned once more. Silhouette: 23, Unharmed, 2 HP Juggler: 23, Bruised x4, Stunned, 0 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, In Mid-Air, 4 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP Tightrope Walker: 7, Bruised x1, Stunned, Staggered, 0 Fusion is up next.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Fusion is going to spend an HP to cancel her fatigue. She's then going grab the tightrope walker and throw the Flying Wallenda at the rope dancer. Grabbing the tightrope walker: 17 Oof, not a good roll. Bad guy's flat-footed, though, does that hit? 46 for the grapple 12 Pooh, well, that stinks. At least the tightrope walker (if hit the first time) has to make a DC 25 Tou save from hitting the wall beyond the rope dancer. Lemme know how that goes.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Ooh, that's gonna sting. Tightrope Walker is down. Silhouette: 23, Unharmed, 2 HP Juggler: 23, Bruised x4, Stunned, 0 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, 4 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x1, Stunned, 0 HP Now comes the flurry once more. Cannonade decides to hit the Trapeze Artist while she's down, and finally realizes his helmet isn't on. Trapeze Artist fails her save by 9, meaning she's Stunned for another round. The Rope Dancer responds by hurling a chunk of scenery at Cannonade... and hitting. Cannonade needs to make a DC23 Toughness save... and gets Stunned. We're back at the top of the round... Silhouette: 23, Unharmed, 2 HP Juggler: 23, Bruised x4, Stunned, 0 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, 4 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Bruised x1, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP And at this point, I should clarify something: Rene is now back on the ground, as the Gravity Control broke when the Juggler got Stunned and the Glide power kicked in, bringing him safely back down. I failed to address this point earlier, and for that, I apologize.
Aoiroo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Well than, Carrie attacks the ropedancer. 13, right, I'm burning a HP for a reroll. 11, well I did pay for the reroll, so add ten to that and it's 21. As usual, DC 24.
trollthumper Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Bonk! Rope Dancer is now Stunned and Staggered. Silhouette: 23, Unharmed, 1 HP Juggler: 23, Bruised x4, Stunned, 0 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, 4 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Bruised x1, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Bruised x1, Stunned, Staggered, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP The Juggler is Stunned until the end of Rene's turn, so, Rene goes next.
Supercape Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 That Juggler WILL go down! Shifted +2 damage -2 Attack Fire Blast 1d20+6=19 I suspect that hits a stunned opponent? DC 25 TOughness. With 4 Bruises I hope that finally gets to do something with bite!
trollthumper Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 And it does. Juggler's down. Silhouette: 23, Unharmed, 1 HP Rene: 22, Bruised x1, 4 HP Fusion: 21, Unharmed, 1 HP Cannonade: 18, Bruised x1, 1 HP Rope Dancer: 14, Bruised x1, Stunned, Staggered, 0 HP Trapeze Artist: 11, Bruised x2, Stunned, 0 HP Fusion is up next.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Fusion is going to grab the rope dancer. 19 She's going to grapple: 46 She's going to throw the rope dancer at the trapeze artist: (spending an HP for the reroll) 29 Hokay, that's a DC 25 Tou save for both the Rope Dancer and the Trapeze Artist. She is attempting to inflict Knockback on the latter.
trollthumper Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 Rope Dancer cannot oppose the grapple, so she is grabbed. The two hit one another. Rope Dancer goes down, and the Trapeze Artist gets Bruised and gets knocked back 50 feet. It's Cannonade's turn, and he strikes at the Rope Dancer... and misses. Surge! Yeah, that's a sight better. Rope Dancer needs to make a DC23 Toughness save... and fails by 15. Combat's over.
