trollthumper
Sadly, yes. Citizen is up next. Link to comment
trollthumper
And as Citizen is taking the time to contemplate, Cannonade goes. Oh, MY. That makes it a DC28 attack. And the Serpent Person rolls a 14. Sadly, he was one point away from being knocked out, but now he's Stunned and Staggered. Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 0 HP Citizen: 15, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 1 HP Serpent Person 2: 13, Bruised x3, Stunned (Cannonade's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Wisp is up next. Azuth65
1+15-5=11 for Move-Action Acro-Bluff. 14+13=27 for her attack action. Link to comment
trollthumper
Acro-Bluff won't really matter, as the snake man's already Stunned. Attack hits, and Serpent Person must make a DC22 Toughness save. And he does not. Combat's over. Link to comment
trollthumper
And we're back in combat. Given we spent maybe ten seconds out of combat, I'd say we can keep the old order, unless you guys want otherwise. Serpent Priest goes on 16. Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 0 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Unharmed, 0 HP Citizen: 15, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 1 HP Serpent Person 2: 13, Bruised x2, 0 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Crusader is up first. trollthumper
That'll hit. It's DC19... and he's Stunned, right out of the gate. Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 0 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x1, Stunned (Crusader's Action), 0 HP Citizen: 15, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 1 HP Serpent Person 2: 13, Bruised x2, 0 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Citizen is up next. Avenger Assembled
Sharl's gonna spend this round refocusing, and go first next time. Link to comment
trollthumper
All right, reorienting the order... Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 0 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 0 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x1, Stunned (Crusader's Action), 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 1 HP Serpent Person 2: 13, Bruised x2, 0 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP So Serpent Priest is up, and everyone take a Hero Point! It's Fiat time. The Serpent Priest throws down his staff, and there are constrictors everywhere! This is a Rank 7 Snare with Homing, so DC17 Reflex save to evade, and DC17 Reflex to avoid (meaning, roll one Reflex save; if you're successful, the second goes down to DC14). Cannonade halves successfully, evades even more successfully. And now it's his turn to attack. He's going to All-Out Attack for +3 ATK/-3 DEF, and manages to hit the serpent priest. Priest needs to make a DC23 Toughness save... and does. Aw, fartsicles. So here's where we are, now. Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 1 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 1 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x1, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 2 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 2 HP Link to comment
GranspearZX
Hoo, lovely. Reflex Save (1d20+4=17) Reflex Save 2 (1d20+4=16) Crusader's good. :) Link to comment
Azuth65
13+8=21 for the first reflex, 14+8=22 for the second Link to comment
Azuth65
5+15=20 to bluff and 2+13=15 to attack. Please ignore the second set of rolls. I screwed up. Link to comment
trollthumper
He falls for it, and thus loses his Dodge Bonus. The attack hits exactly, meaning it's a DC22 Toughness save for the Priest. And he rolls a 14, meaning he's Stunned again! Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 1 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 1 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x2, Stunned (Wisp's Action), 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 2 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 2 HP Citizen is up next. Avenger Assembled
If a 13 hits him flat-footed, that's a DC 26 Tou save. If not, grr! Link to comment
trollthumper
Well, a 15 hit when he was merely denied his Dodge Bonus, so a 13 will certainly hit when he's Stunned. And now he's Staggered as well as Stunned. Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 1 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 1 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x3, Stunned (Citizen's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 2 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 2 HP Crusader is up next. GranspearZX
Power attacking with this one for a -5/+5 Save DC tradeoff: 1d20+9=20 -5 gives it 15. Link to comment
trollthumper
That'll hit. Means the Priest needs to make a DC24 Toughness save. And he's Bruised again. Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 1 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 1 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x4, Stunned (Citizen's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 2 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 2 HP Okay, Serpent Priest's turn, and he's not acting. However, those snakes of his have Homing... but seeing as he failed his Concentration checks somewhere around Wisp's turn, that's a no-no. So it's Cannonade's turn, and he's going to try and land a blow on the guy. And he succeeds. Serpent Priest needs to make a DC23 Toughness save... and fails it by 10. Which would knock him out. *looks both ways* Screw it. Fiat. Snake man wakes up, manages to avoid Cannonade's blow. Everyone take a Hero Point. Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 2 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 2 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x4, Staggered, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 3 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 3 HP Wisp is up next. trollthumper
Yeah, that'll hit, and it qualifies for Autofire, so... +4 to the DC. That means the Serpent Priest needs to make a DC26 Toughness save... and makes a 23. Citizen: Seized Initiative +1, Unharmed, 2 HP Crusader: Seized Initiative, Unharmed, 2 HP Serpent Priest: 16, Bruised x5, Staggered, 0 HP Cannonade: 14, Bruised x2, 3 HP Wisp: 11, Unharmed, 3 HP Citizen is up next.
