trollthumper Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 All right, then. I'm at home, so let's see where this goes. Doc Otaku goes on 5. His Robo-Strumpet* goes on 14. *The new title from Warren Ellis!
KnightDisciple Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Fenris, being within sight of things, will Teleport on top of the car if possible, and near or next to it if that is not possible. Anyways, init. Fenris goes on a 16. TT, let me know if I can do rooftop landing or not, and I'll do a quick IC post to have him arrive at the car.
quotemyname Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Initiative for Blueshift (1d20+5=22) Assuming I can get close enough, that is.
JackgarPrime Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Victory Initiative (1d20+9=21) Another one for the good guys!
trollthumper Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 Well, here it is. I'm not rolling for Cannonade yet, as he's currently in flight over the bay. Ironclad: 23, Unharmed, 4 HP Blueshift: 22, Unharmed, 2 HP Victory: 21, Unharmed, 2 HP Fenris; 16, Unharmed, 2 HP Angelique: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Doc Otaku: 5, Unharmed, 0 HP Ironclad is up first. And Fenris can land on the rooftop.
Raveled Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Power Attack + All-Out Attack vs car glass (1d20+9=17) -.- That should hit a stationary car; if it does, DC 29 against the glass. If the glass breaks, Surging and spending a HP to eat the fatigue and making a Grapple check vs. Otaku. All-Out Attack to make a Grapple check vs Doc Otaku (1d20+14=18)
trollthumper Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 As glass has a Toughness of 1, it pretty much goes right through. And Otaku totally beefs his Grapple check, making him Bound. Ironclad: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Blueshift: 22, Unharmed, 2 HP Victory: 21, Unharmed, 2 HP Fenris; 16, Unharmed, 2 HP Angelique: 14, Unharmed, 0 HP Doc Otaku: 5, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Blueshift is up next.
quotemyname Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Rank 4 teleport is 1 mile on the extended range table. Does that get me close enough? If so, where are applicable locations with "wires" for me to exit. Even if it gets me nearby, I could switch back to my regular boots and 'move in for the kill' as it were.
trollthumper Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 I'm pretty sure there's an Internet cafe or a place with WiFi somewhere in the area.
quotemyname Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Okay, Cool. The teleport was not Accurate, so we'll say I pop out there. Certainly within range of a Speed 4 move action, yes? Free Action: HP to clear the Fatigue from the Extra Effort on her Boots Move Action: Get closer Standard Action: Relieve the helpless Doc Otaku of his fancy wristwatch! Multiple Free Actions: Use Quickness to try and see what it is. Skill Mastery Knowledge Technology = DC 35 (11:51:29) trollthumper: All right, given some of the doodads and stuff, it seems to be a portable version of the battlesuit Doc Otaku tends to wear -- it has functions for electromagnetic manipulation for both pulse blasts and force fields, though weaker than his usual model. Multiple Free Actions: Disable Device the hell out of that thing. I auto pass on a DC 30 by taking 10. Turned that thing to slag in a hurry! Post incoming...
trollthumper Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 And thus do things get busted. Victory is up next.
JackgarPrime Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Can I get a quick summary of where everyone's at? Including the villains?
trollthumper Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 Ironclad is right next to the car that contained Doc Otaku and contains his driver Angelique. Doc Otaku is currently being grappled by Ironclad, and Blueshift has disabled his doodad and is standing right next to him. Fenris will land on the car roof, and Cannonade is still in air for several rounds because that's how Leaping works. Angelique is still in the driver's seat.
trollthumper Posted April 16, 2011 Author Posted April 16, 2011 All right, folks; in the name of greater transparency, and because I was hazy on the necessity of this, I should disclose I've been running this thread with unapproved NPCs. I've sent the templates up to the refs, but we have a choice: -Hold off until the approvals go through. -Play forward, knowing that we're in a thread with unapproved NPCs. What do you guys want to do?
Raveled Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Let's push it through. Not much longer until things are over and done, anyway.
quotemyname Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Well, currently we're (to quote Charlie sheen) "WINNING!" so let's just keep going. (I don't think you're doing a bad job of representing Doc O anyway).
JackgarPrime Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 I don't mind if the refs don't. By the way, can Victory fly through the rear windshield and tackle whats-her-face out through the front one?
quotemyname Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 lols that would be pretty epic! I'd say, "roll it!", but then again, I'm not GMing, haha.
trollthumper Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 I'd rule that an attack with Knockback, yeah. If KD's alright with us playing through, we'll see what happens with it.
KnightDisciple Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Oh, sorry. Yeah, I'm fine with continuing as we are.
JackgarPrime Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 All right then. Would we be able to label this a Charge, or is he too close?
trollthumper Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 Rules say at least ten feet for a Charge action. Your average sedan is apparently 197 in. in length. As that's at least 16 feet, I'll allow it.
