What Makes Him Sing (OOC)

Stuff only Miss A would catch!

Depending on the sensitivity of the equipment, she may pick up that underneath the obvious sounds of his voice, Gabriel was putting out rather potent ultrahigh and ultralow frequency soundwaves. These wave might serve the purpose of actually relaxing people, at least generally speaking. One way or another, they seem to be a subconscious aid to his interactions with people, and don't even totally require them to be able to hear; their nature is such that they're felt more than heard.

If the equipment's really good, it might catch the fact that he's putting out some form of those waves even when he's not speaking or singing.

Description time!

First, he used his Drain Toughness that has the Affects Objects only extra.

SCIENCE!: The attack seems to use tightly focused sound waves that strike the surface of the target and cause shallow structural damage, rendering armor weaker without totally destroying the inside. It spreads mainly across the surface of the target, rather than penetrating. The effect propagates around the target via a response remarkably similar to sympathetic resonance. It's possible he could perform a similar feat against biological organisms, in a way that would temporarily weaken the body's ability to resist damage, without permanently crippling them.

Then, he used his Blast.

SCIENCE!: This one is much simpler and more direct. Sound waves of both high and low frequency are emitted in a steady stream, having sufficient energy that they act almost like a physical blow as they strike the target.

So, in order, he used the following powers:

*Ranged Paralyze

*Nauseate

*Confuse

*Auditory Dazzle

*Emotion Control (in this case, Hope)

I'll post my pseudo-science from the Wiki here now:

# By generating sudden loud, random noises at point-blank range to his opponent's ears, he can render them deafened for a short time.

# By generating intensely focused sub-sonic and ultra-sonic waves, in a modified version of his intensified natural charm, he is able to instill various emotions in people. Calm, fear, anger, and other such intense emotions; all of them can be generated with a thought and a gesture by Gabriel. He's only used it to calm angry people, or to induce utter terror a couple of times when other methods failed. He dislikes using this power, when all is said and done.

# Gabriel can assault someone's inner ear with random sub-sonic pulses to leave them utterly disoriented and confused.

# With a mere touch, Gabriel can slam someone's body with waves of low-frequency sound, what some might call "brown notes" or "brown noise", leaving them feeling intensely sickened.

# Alternatively, Gabriel's sonic assault can permeate their nervous system, especially their brain, leaving them unable to move as their brain tries to sort through the random "junk signals" it's getting. With a little extra time and concentration, he's able to do this at some measure of range, though it still only affects a single target.

By this point, she should be able to determine how Gabriel is doing what he's doing. In short, he's a mutant.

Longer explanation:

Gabriel has a series of very small nodules (less than a centimeter diameter, roughly spherical) scattered all over his body; they seem to be connected by what almost appears to be a secondary nervous system. Each nodule seems to store biological energy and convert it into vibrations that manifest as sound. Most of these nodules seem to be in the upper levels of his muscular tissue, meaning the vibrations (which are focused outwards) don't have to travel far. His whole body acts as an amplifier, but special membranes protect his organs, tissues, inner ear, and so on from any negative effects from their use. His arms, legs, and throat/upper torso contain about 50 % of the total number of nodules (numbered around 100), with the rest scattered fairly evenly around his body.
