Aoiroo Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 The Central Library was by far the largest Etain had visited. It looked a bit like a fortress, especially with the stone guardians set out front, which she spent just a good bit of time looking at them, though she herself got some strange looks. Mostly because of the time she spent even as the rain came and went in her thick coat and floral print umbrella. It never ceased to amaze how a culture which seemed overall resistant to the idea of magic so freely showcased such creatures of that origin. It was more amazing how easily more accepting they were of other concepts like travelers from an alternate dimension, or other planets. Though she was probably overthinking it, after all, it was not like she was alone, in fact she could probably find someone to talk too over a nice warm drink were she to turn around and teleport over to Parkhurst. That thought caused a slight shiver as she turned towards the library. Her coat had protected her from the bits of rain, but the moisture was sinking in and it was probably unwise for her to stay out here for much longer. Turning from the spinx's she started to ascend the steps only turning to glance at them once more and stopping dead as she caught sight of another interesting person moving up behind her. Taking a few seconds, she considered her options, or even really the chances. She was cold, but she was still curious and a bit worried. Turning on her heels she started down the stairs and met the outworlders gaze with a smile, "Hello Ms. Jeni, it is good to see you again."
