Heritage Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Decided to try something new - this is a crop of an early Paint image, that was then tweaked in Photoshop - here's the original, which I call 'Golgotha'. I'm not super-religious, but I love the power associated with this imagery. Not sure how it works in tiny size.
Barnum Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 It looks cool to me. I love the color.

cosmicarus Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Yeah, nice pic! I like the silhouette effect. For my new avatar, I've chosen a great character from a great story.

Veiled Malice Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Read it. I was really surprised by the fact that in the story, there were no "heroes", just varying shades of gray hats. It was very powerful that way.

cosmicarus Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Muchly agreed, VM! I've decided to go for a smaller, more interesting one.

Quiett Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 And here I've been trying to get a drawing of my character done for my avatar when I could have just found a picture and put it in. Eventually my avatar will be a picture of Star so that people can see him like I see him in my mind.

Barnum Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 And here I've been trying to get a drawing of my character done for my avatar when I could have just found a picture and put it in. Yep, there are no special requirements for avatars . . . like it has to be a picture of your character, especially since most of our players have more than one character. So find any avatar that suits your fancy! As long as it's PG.

Barnum Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 I've been pouring over army minis, maps, and stuff tonight, trying to get ready for the Zombies game. I though an army-inspired avatar was in order. *salutes*

Heridfel Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I thought she was a racecar driver, or maybe a pilot. Racecar is a palindrome. Yeah.

Folkert Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Sagat, the one-eyed "God of Muay Thai" (of Street Fighter fame) Seemed like a good fit when I chose him a few years ago. (I still have hair, though. )

Nyrath Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Myself I've gone with using Graf Herrman, a minor villain from Mahou Sensei Negima as my avatar. As for why; I simple like his style.
