Aoiroo Posted July 8, 2011 Author Share Posted July 8, 2011 Initiative Time 9 For Carrie and Security Guards, 2, 22, 20, 7, one is following and protecting Nates, this is the thug template bumped up to PL 7, so +9 Defense, +9 Attack, +5 Damage, +5 Toughness, average everything else.. 4, Nates is civilian at PL 5 armed with a heavy pistol, +6 Attack, +4 Damage, +7 Defense, +3 Toughness, but he currently isn't fighting. Carrie's turn, she attacks the thug that shot him, 25, that's a hit, so DC 26, 25 as well, critical really, so he's fine. Security guard see's new person and put's himself in front of Nates in full defensive mode. Nates draws his pistol and attacks Carrie, 26, that's a hit, so toughness DC 19, 15, so Carrie is bruised, next thug attacks Carrie also, 28, not critical luckily but a hit, DC 20, Carrie rolls toughness, and 27, she's fine. So top of the round. Security Guard 2 Unharmed Security Guard 3 Bruised Lord Steam Bruised 2HP Carrie Bruised 2HP Security Guard 4 Unharmed Nates Unharmed Security Guard 2 Unharmed Guards attack Steam, and Carrie, miss Steam, hit Carrie, so DC 20 for Carrie again, 11, yeah no, reroll, 18, which is under ten, add 10, and it's 28. And it's Nates turn. He runs to the book and starts doing a spell, and the cat is now moving. WE HAVE A NEW CHALLENGER! Move Action: Feinting at -5 Penalty, 1d20+5=11 not too impressive, but you never know. Standard Action: Shifting -1 Attack, +1 Damage with Cane: 1d20+10=22 Should be enough to hit even if the feint fails. DC 21 Toughness. Link to comment

Carrie's turn, she acrobatic bluffs as a move action, 32, -5 is 27 and physically impossible for the cat to make so it's flatfooted, so she goes for the cat, she goes +2 damage shifting, and attacks 15, that's a hit, so DC 28 for cat, 32, that's no damage and it's Nates turn. His security guard is eying the cat and staying defensive, Nates is attack Carrie. Miss, new round, cat goes first. It attacks Carrie, 24, that's a hit, DC 29 for Carrie, 26, she's bruised again so lets see the layout. So Carrie damage shifts against the Jade Cat, 23, that's a hit, so DC 28, 15, that is stunned and staggered which with no constitution is a huge crack in the Jade. Now Nates is attacking Carrie for hurting the cat, 7, that's a miss, Security Guard stops protecting and shoots too, 11, that's a miss. So DC 28, So cat makes toughness 21, and shatters. Carrie will spend the next round cursing that she broke a priceless art piece. Nates grabs the book while the Security Guard shoots at Lockwood20, that hits, DC 20 for Lockwood. Nate uses his standard action to say an incantation and the cat starts to glow and regenerate itself. GM Fiat, so both character's get an HP. Link to comment
