Heritage
So what's the status on this thread? Link to comment
Aoiroo
Comatose, maybe we can do some CPR to get it living again. Link to comment
Gizmo
If it's alright, I'll have Jack reopen the portal via stabbing reality, if there's enough magic left over there for him to work with. Link to comment
Aoiroo
That is awesome, go ahead and do that. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Notice Check for Etain and Jack who both have magical senses, DC 25, Etain rolls, 17, fail. Link to comment
trollthumper
Nick's using the Postcognition function of Banshee Wail to see if Grimalkin passed through that area, and maybe see what happened when she did. He scores a 21 on his Notice check, so he'll be able to get some slightly cogent material. Link to comment
Aoiroo
He notices a very very light trail, but it is several months old. An image of her walking with her purse like normal that fades just a few steps in. Link to comment
Gizmo
Notice Check vs. DC 25. (1d20+10=28) Link to comment
Aoiroo
Okay, Jack knows Grim is there somewhere, in fact he knows she's in the same building, but she is concealed. Link to comment
Gizmo
Jack is making an Auto-DC 36 Bluff check against the Queen in this post, to be clear, Aided by his sister's Auto-DC 30, for a total of 38. Link to comment
Aoiroo
What's the bluff doing exactly? Link to comment
Gizmo
He's Bluffing that he knows exactly where Grim is, as opposed to just knowing that she's somewhere in the vicinity, with the aim of getting the Queen to lead them to where she is or potentially tipping her hand in some other manner. Aoiroo
Gotcha, let's see, Queens got supernaturally high charisma, otherwise she's the Glacia build so lets see, 29, huh it worked. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Iniative time, Jack's pissed off the queen of ice and air, not that it's unexpected. Her guards come to play. We are using the military fairy build, regular PL 10, forty in total(minion status though), their iniative is measured in tens. 20, 23, 11, 14. Ice Queen stats, Glacia, at PL 15 more or less. Notice, Sense Motive and Bluff are all 25 baseline. Also, +13 iniative, her DC's and attacks are 15, 15 even, and it's DC 27 to get a hit on her (DC 18 flat-footed, but she has uncanny Dodge), also she has immunity to fortitude effects, and anything in her element (Ice and such). SO her iniative is 25 Also, Changeling's iniative, 3 Link to comment
Gizmo
Jack - Initiative. (1d20+9=25) Jill - Initiative. (1d20+4=7) Link to comment
Aoiroo
Right, than, Ice Queen 25 Unharmed Jack 25 Unharmed x6 HP Hoard 2 23 Unharmed Hoard 1 20 Unharmed Hoard 4 14 Unharmed Nick 14 Unharmed x3 HP Hoard 3 11 Unharmed Jill 7 Unharmed x1 HP Changeling 3 Unharmed x1 HP Link to comment
Aoiroo
Queens up first and she's blasting in a line of autofire against well everyone starting with Jack, Jill, Changeling than Nick, so miss, miss, hit, hit. DC 32 for Changeling, DC 35 for Nick. Don't know if interpose is possible for this but there it is, Changeling's roll, 23, so stunned and bruised. I'll probably burn an HP to remove the stun. Jack's turn. Link to comment
Gizmo
Jack of all Blades Move Action: Auto-DC 36 Feint vs. the Queen w/ Skill Mastery and Fast Talk. Standard Action: Energy Sword Flurry. (1d20+20=27) So, that hits either way, but it's DC 25 if she beats the Feint and DC 32 if she doesn't. Link to comment
trollthumper
Nick, meanwhile, makes a... 19 on his Toughness save. Oh screw that. Hero point! Better, but he's Bruised and Stunned. Link to comment
Aoiroo
She didn't make the feint, so toughness31, so bruised. Hoard time, Hoard 2 is first, they're going after Jill, All misses except for one which is a critical, good thing they're minions. DC 27 toughness for Jill. Hoard 1 and 4 are both attacking Jack cause he's directly attacked their Queen, they're using accurate attack +2 attack to be exact, Not one hit. Nicks turn. Link to comment
Gizmo
Ooh, ouch. Toughness Save vs. DC 27. (1d20+7=15) Toughness Save vs. DC 27, HP reroll. (1d20+7=17) Ha! That becomes a 27! Link to comment
trollthumper
Spending an HP to drop the Stunned condition, then using Banshee Wail on the Queen and her goons. That's a Rank 12 Emotion Control (Fear) effect with a DC22 Reflex save for each of them to avoid it entirely, and a DC22 Will save for each to resist its effects. Link to comment
