Aoiroo Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Okay, these are fairy warriors, this isn't on the sheet but I'm just going to fiat that they all have fearless, that's an HP for well everyone except Nick who gets two since this limits his crowd control options. Hoard three is up, they attack Nick, not a single one hits. Okay, Etain versus the Hoards. She has power attack so she's going to shift +4 damage from attack and take ten on every attack against the minions so that's DC 31 will fora ll the minions, who are all physically incapable of making it. Etain has takedown attack 2 with her strikes as well, so she has walked around the ballroom taking out all the minions for now. Ice Queen 25 Bruised Jack 25 Unharmed x6 HP Nick 14 Bruised x4 HP Jill 7 Unharmed x1 HP Changeling 3 Bruised x2 HP Ice Queen is up and she's doing the fortitude strike on Jack, shifted 2 accurate attack, 36, almost a critical, but yeah that's a hit, so it's DC 28 Fortitude save from Jack.
Gizmo Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Fort Save vs. DC 28. (1d20+8=22) Is that against Damage or some other effect?
Aoiroo Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 It's alternate save on a blast, so Jack is bruised and stunned. Also, we totally skipped Jill's turn, that's not good.
Aoiroo Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Jack, post the wall thing in IC first, than I'll post the next bit with Changeling and the Ice Queen.
trollthumper Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 All right, seeing as it's Nick's turn, I'll be using Ereshkigal's Talons, moving in on the Queen and attacking. I'll be using the Accurate Attack maneuver (not Feat) for +2 ATT/-2 DMG, resulting in a +12 attack and a -14 DMG save. 25 might not hit, but I can hope.
Aoiroo Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 That does hit, 26, so she is bruised. It's Jill's turn.
Gizmo Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Jill O'Cure Move Action: Auto-DC 25 Taunt vs. Ice Queen. Standard Action: Try to trap Ice Queen in force field. That's a DC 22 Reflex save.
Aoiroo Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 She makes it, as for the taunt she's got 25 Cha modifier so I'll just assume she makes that too. Changeling's turn, she's using the round to search for Grim. DC 20 for Changeling, 21, she found her. Queens turn, since Changeling found Grim she's going to use that against them. Grim is free, but she's also under a very deep illusion and thinks there enemies, so now they're fighting one fairy Queen, plus Grim.
Heritage Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 So how do you want to play this? I'm more than happy to run Grim again.
Aoiroo Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Well I'm thinking I'd just treat her as an NPC for this portion, then when she's not all rawr you can play her again.
Heritage Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Well I'm thinking I'd just treat her as an NPC for this portion, then when she's not all rawr you can play her again. Works for me! You'll probably run her better in combat than I would :P
Aoiroo Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 Grimalkin's iniative, 13, and she's joining the iniative because she's fighting on the Queens side because she's under a deep illusion. Ice Queen 25 Bruised x2 Jack 25 Bruised x6 HP Nick 14 Bruised x4 HP Grimalkin 13 Unharmed Jill 7 Unharmed x1 HP Changeling 3 Bruised x2 HP The queen reacts to Jill's attack with an icy blast, 30, that's a hit, so DC 30 fortitude save. Then it's Jack's turn. Okay guys we have the stats out for a whole round, Giz can post or not if he wants to do Jack being stunned, but TT has to post with Nick then Giz with Jill, then we can do the thing where Changeling finds Grim before we roll the next round.
trollthumper Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Okay, Nick will take a swipe at the Queen with Ereshkigal's Talons again. Once more using the +2 ATT/-2 DMG Accurate Attack maneuver. And I blow it. Hero Point! Well, that's a 23, at least. We'll see what it does.
Gizmo Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Fort Save vs. DC 30. (1d20+7=19) Fort Save vs. DC 30, HP reroll. (1d20+7=10) ...ouch. Okay, so fails by 10. That's staggered?
