quotemyname
Thread for Supercape and Protectron to run tests on Ferros. Archeville chimes in later with plot! Link to comment
quotemyname
So I guess I have to make this distinction sometime. I've decided against going with Magnetic Field stuff like Magneto uses. I'm going with Alchemy instead. Blah blah rubber science blah blah. Ferros can control the whatever it is that make metals metal. At it's basic level. So maybe it's anatomic, maybe it's not. Who knows? Regardless, I think this is probably a good time for Protectron to chime in. Think we should wait for doc? Link to comment
Dr Archeville
His powers are effectively magical (alchemy/chi/'waterbending'), right? I.e., Nullify Magical Powers would nix 'em, but a Nullify Mutant Powers or Nullify Electromagnetic Effects would not? Link to comment
quotemyname
Yea, lets go with that! Flying by the seat of my pants here, but it makes sense with some other stuff I've got in mind so I like it! :D Link to comment
quotemyname
I'll take this time to add that any thing that Supercape Does pick up on the EM spectrum is due to the bioaccumulant metals in Ferros' blood. Perhaps they're 'on fire' whenever he uses his powers, or whatever. I don't know enough about chemistry to understand how these things act/operate. Link to comment
quotemyname
My friend who's got his Masters in Chemistry tells me that it IS possible for such elements in one's system to to give off minute electrical gradients, though it depends on how small you're measuring electrical fields. Link to comment
Supercape
I will try and supply some, errr, comic book science... Link to comment
