Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Zombie Megazord (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=21) Just a normal blast, this time. DC27, plus the DC27 it'll have to save against from the previous attack's Secondary Effect. Link to comment
Raveled
Zombie's Toughness save, vs DC 27 (1d20+12=26) Well, since it's a minion that's all Fly needs to put it down. Also, according to a ruling in chat: (19:13:22) Raveled: If the SE is attached to a Damage effect, and then the target of the SE is hit by another Damage effect next turn, do the saves happen one after another? Ecalsneerg: Rav: Secondary Effects don’t stack, so if you attack a target with your Secondary Effect on the round after a successful hit, it doesn’t affect the target twice; it simply delays the second effect for a round. You can attack the target with a different effect, however. So, for example, if you hit a target with a Secondary Effect Strike then, on the following round, hit with a Stun attack, the target suf- fers both the Stun and the Secondary Effect of the Strike. (19:15:19) Raveled: Hm! but if you hit it with the Strike on the second round, it wouldn't need to make 2 Toughness saves? (19:15:43) Ecalsneerg: Rav: Secondary Effects do not stack Since this seems like an honest mistake, Fly gets a HP because her second Damage effect wouldn't have done anything. Link to comment
Fox
Hm. Fair enough. Guess it did seem too good to be true.... Clearly I just need to get Dragonfly a paralyze or stun or something, for when this comes up. Link to comment
Fox
Dragonfly's not so much for the bantering when a girl's getting her neck sucked on, unfortunately! Free Actions: shift her aux. array back to flight. Move Action: fly up to the vampire. Standard Action: Melee Attack Roll vs. Vampire (sword) (1d20 + 10=25) IC pending on results, because if the vampire's stunned or too startled she may end up needing to surge and catch the princess before the girl brains herself on the table. Alas for dimensional pockets that are (probably) too full to store ladies in dresses. Link to comment
Raveled
Well, the solution is obvious there: Surge to cut her out of the dress and then stuff her in the pocket! Jill never needs to know. Toughness save, vs DC 25 (1d20+8=21) Bruise! Link to comment
Raveled
Initiative for Vampire (1d20+4=24) Whups! Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's melee attack, vs Dragonfly's Def. DC 23 (1d20+12=15) Doesn't do any damage. Dragonfly gets an HP because a civilian's in danger! Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's attack roll to initiate grapple, vs Dragonfly's Def (1d20+12=16) That... does not hit. Fly's up. Link to comment
Fox
Dragonfly shifts a little of her flight to super-strength, so that she can carry the princess more comfortably. Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast) (1d20 + 10=27) DC25 Toughness for the vampire, and Dragonfly retreats back into the room a bit so that the thing will have a harder time ambushing her from the windows. Raveled
Vampire's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+7=24) Bruise x2 Vampire tries to attack again. Vampire's Unarmed w/ +2 Accurate Attack, vs Fly's Defense. DC 21 (1d20+14=18) Ugh! Even with Accurate he can't hit! Link to comment
Fox
Melee Attack Roll vs. Vampire (sword) (1d20 + 10 =22) Not sure if that hits; probably, unless the vampire's pretty defense-shifted. DC25 Toughness. Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+6=20) Stun + Bruise! 50 ft in the air, so I guess that means he makes a DC 20 check when he falls. Vampire's toughness save, vs DC 20 (1d20+5=22) Makes that one, but he's still Stunned. Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=19) DC27 Toughness. Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's Toughness save, vs DC 27. (1d20+5=21) Bruise x 4 and the Stun refreshes. Link to comment
Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=14) DC27 Toughness. Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's Toughness, vs. DC 27 (1d20+4=12) Fail by 14! Just one short of being done with the fight. Oh well, Stun + Staggered. Link to comment
Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=28) Even Invisible Castle doesn't want a repeat of the dragon fight! I'll spare us and just go for the straight DC bonus. DC25 (base) + 2 (power attack) + 5 (crit) = DC32 Toughness. Link to comment
Raveled
(22:19:25) Raveled: Okay, IC's down, so rolling the Toughness save in here. (22:19:33) ChatBot: Raveled rolls 1d20 and gets 19. +4 makes that 23, vs DC 32, so a 9. Stun gets refreshed and Bruise x5. Link to comment
Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=26) DC27 toughness. Link to comment
Raveled
Vampire's Toughness, vs DC 27. (1d20+3=20) Stun + Bruise x6. This is beyond comical. I think Dragonfly needs a Complication about fights dragging on too long... Link to comment
Fox
Ranged Attack Roll vs. Vampire (blast; Power Attack -2/+2) (1d20 + 10 - 2=12) Oh for the love of....y'know, I'm not even going to reroll that. I'm going to give the vampire some minuscule chance to escape from its endless chain of stuns. For variety, if nothing else. Though, considering he's flat-footed and has an additional -2 on his defense from the stun, there's some minor possibility it hits. DC27, if it does. Link to comment
Raveled
He's also still Staggered. Been so for 2 rounds. I can't believe I'm having to track the Staggered condition because there's a very real chance that he'll be able to heal it before this fight finishes. Ugh. Link to comment
Raveled
For this fight, Granny will be using a modified version of Terminus Hero build. No Teleport, but a couple ranks of Flight to let her keep up. Ironclad's Initiative. (1d20+3=7) Granny's Initiative. (1d20+7=11) Owch. Hope those rolls aren't indicative of the whole fight. She starts off with Emotion Control. Feel the fear of the coil! Ironclad's Will save, vs DC 20 (1d20+8=12) Thanks a lot, IC. Link to comment
Raveled
Rerolling Ironclad's Will save, vs DC 20. (1d20+8=28) THAT is fantastic. Ironclad's Blast, using full All-Out Attack and full Power Attack, vs Granny's Defense. DC 30. (1d20+15=20) That... That had better just barely hit. Granny's Toughness save, vs DC 30. (1d20+10=17) Bruise + Stun! Yeah! Link to comment
