Quinn Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Not sure when Crow'd be coming in here...make some noise! Initiative Roll! (1d20+8=25)
trollthumper Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 All right. Here we are, then: Silhouette: 27, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper: 26, Unharmed, 0 HP Crow: 25, Unharmed, 2 HP Geckoman: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Ironclad: 22, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Unharmed, 3 HP Silhouette is up next. But before we go, let's see if Peacekeeper notices her. (21:10:09) System: trollthumper rolls 1d20 and gets 5. Add his +11 for Notice, and that's a 16, so no.
Aoiroo Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Okay, Sil's gonna do a trip roll against Peacekeeper for her surprise round, 28, that looks like a hit, so dex check, 25, crit trip. So yeah, he has to beat that dex check, if he doesn't he's flat-footed as well as prone and loses an additional 4 points to his defense. She does a Grapple next, so attack 13, that hits? Well if he's still flat-footed it does, if not he's still prone.
Aoiroo Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Grapple check, 28, so yeah, she's going to trip him then sit on him.
trollthumper Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 That will in fact hit. Peacekeeper gets tripped. The Grapple hits, and he's pinned. Silhouette: 27, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper: 26, Unharmed, Pinned, Prone, 0 HP Crow: 25, Unharmed, 2 HP Geckoman: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Ironclad: 22, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper is up next. He attempts to break the Grapple as a Move Action. He makes a 25.
Aoiroo Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 21, , I think I'll burn an HP for a reroll. so, 35, he's stays pinned.
trollthumper Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 All right, then. In fact, he stays Bound. Silhouette: 27, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper: 26, Unharmed, Bound, Prone, 0 HP Crow: 25, Unharmed, 2 HP Geckoman: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Ironclad: 22, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Unharmed, 3 HP Crow is up next.
Quinn Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Hokay, lots to do here. First, Crow gets a Notice check as a Reaction thanks to our most munificent GM. Thanks Troll! With Skill Mastery and +13, he gets a 23 on the DC 20 check, which means Morgan spots alla your hubbub over dere. Move Action - Haul arse to the nearest washroom. Free Action - Quick Change into his Crow costume. Burn an HP. Move Action - Teleport to Peacekeeper and the others! Standard Action - Intimidate. His first genuine citizen's arrest! Hooray! Same here, Skill Mastery with a +13; DC 23 check from Peacekeeper, for the purposes of Demoralizing. Or heck, maybe he'll surrender! Note: with Peacekeeper in the position he's in (namely flattened to the ground with a dude dressed from head to foot in black standing right in front of his head and surrounded by other heroes), he might qualify for the +2 bonus as detailed in the game book, turning it to a DC 25 check; but I'll leave that to Troll. ;)
trollthumper Posted September 8, 2011 Author Posted September 8, 2011 That's a 17. He's Demoralized, but not surrendering. Silhouette: 27, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper: 26, Unharmed, Bound, Prone, Demoralized, 0 HP Crow: 25, Unharmed, 1 HP Geckoman: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Ironclad: 22, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Unharmed, 3 HP Geckoman is up next.
Raveled Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Quinn, you realize the point of Quick Change is that changing into a specific outfit is a Free action? Right?
Quinn Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Aah, right; sorry, my mind went on holiday there. Fixed!
Ecalsneerg Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I can see clearly now... (1d20+10=12) Gecks is too busy getting... funky.
trollthumper Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 All right, then. Ironclad is up next.
trollthumper Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Cannonade's action. He decides that since the guy's pretty much bound, he's going to try and unmask him. As the target's Helpless, we'll just say that happens. Silhouette: 27, Unharmed, 3 HP Peacekeeper: 26, Unharmed, Bound, Prone, Demoralized, 0 HP Crow: 25, Unharmed, 1 HP Geckoman: 23, Unharmed, 3 HP Ironclad: 22, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Unharmed, 3 HP Silhouette's up next. Also, anyone who wants to and is in the room, give me a Sense Motive check.
Aoiroo Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 (19:43:26) System: Aoiroo rolls 1d20 and gets 1. Yeah, Sil missed that one.
Aoiroo Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Sil does an intimidate roll, 18, not that bad considering her bonus is zero.
trollthumper Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 Not-Quite Peacekeeper is Intimidated. Do you wish to Demoralize or Interrogate?
trollthumper Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 All right, Silhouette has effectively Intimidated the target out of his Mental Transform, opening the floor for Interrogation. We are out of rounds, and everyone can take a Hero Point for the switcheroo.
Raveled Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Ironclad's going to make a Computers check to, um... Find a File, I guess? Basically Googling those phrases she got to see if she can figure out which facility this is, and where it happens to be. Taking 20 for a result of 35.
trollthumper Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 All right, here's what Ironclad finds: There is a facility in North Bay known as the Faith Wilkins Center for Youth Rehabilitation. The website, which seems like a recent affair, talks about helping children to overcome "inner darkness" and "embrace the true self."
Ecalsneerg Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Alright, Geckoman uses psychology degree! Behavioural Sciences check. (1d20+5=24)
trollthumper Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 Here's what Geckoman gets: The guy is very, very obviously cracked. Like Kyle, it seems he was made cracked more than he was cracked from the start. It feels like his entire personality has been put into recess, and is just now trying to push itself to the surface. Some lingering elements of the masked man's programming might still be there, and odds are there may be a trigger phrase or predisposition to conditioning left in there so that the psychic "tune up" can be maintained.
Aoiroo Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Take ten on Stealth, so DC 30 for anybody to see her.
