Aoiroo Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Right, so I can't buy selective, so it's an area effect with a DC 22 reflex save, and DC 22 will if the reflex isn't met.
Raveled Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Reflex save, vs DC 22. (1d20+7=11) Nope! Now for the Will. Will save, vs DC 22. (1d20+6=16) Exactly unconscious. Nice job. Reflex save, vs DC 22. (1d20+7=8) Suuuuch a hard fail. Will save, vs DC 22. (1d20+6=18) Not down! Has a head-ache, but he's not out!
Azuth65 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Reflex: 1d20+8=28 Not sure if improved evasion applies to non-damaging AEs. If so, super, Wisp avoids it. If not, she's down too... Will: 1d20+7=13
Raveled Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Evasion applies to all AoEs. Wisp isn't affected at all.
Aoiroo Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Okay, buying reversible so she removes Glow's effects.
Raveled Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Roo, can I get a Notice check for Changeling? Glowstar's Notice check. (1d20+8=26) IC continues to love Glows. Stealth check for Uplifted Minions. (1d20+20=40) Yowza.
Aoiroo Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Taking ten, so that's 20. Minions have the surprise round then.
Raveled Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Initiative for Uplifted Minions. (1d20+30=46, 1d20+30=43, 1d20+30=36) Yes, that's +30. Blame AA, this is his build. Initiative for Glowstar. (1d20+6=21) Not quite good enough.
Aoiroo Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 17, and this is one of her better rolls with initiative, yeah, Changeling is hella slow.
Raveled Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Uplifted Minion's attack, first round. Vs Wisp, Changeling, and Glowstar's Defense. (1d20+10=22, 1d20+10=25, 1d20+10=30) Oh god. At least they can't crit. Actually, both Wisp and Changeling are unhit. Only Glows gets smacked around in the first round. Uplifted Minion's attack, second round. Vs Wisp, Changeling, and Glowstar's Defense. (1d20+10=29, 1d20+10=22, 1d20+10=13) Second round, both Wisp and Glowstar get hit. That's it, Uncanny Dodge for Glowstar next month. Okay, one DC 25 Toughness save for Wisp and two for Glowstar. Glowstar's Toughness save, vs DC 25 (1d20+10=29) Glowstar's Toughness save, vs DC 25 (1d20+10=21) Only a Bruise for two very nasty hits. Nice. Initiative order is: Minion A -- Unhurt -- GM Minion B -- Unhurt -- GM Minion C -- Unhurt -- GM Glowstar -- Bruised -- HP x6 Wisp -- Unhurt -- HP x3 Changeling -- Unhurt HPx3 Since Glows is up, he's gonna smack the one on him. Entropic Strike attack roll, vs Minion A's Defense. DC 25 (1d20+10=19) Oh, fff--! Gonna spend an HP on that one, and with the reroll it automatically hits. Minion A's Toughness, vs DC 25 (1d20+10=12) It is down for the count, and Glows is down an HP. Wisp is up.
Azuth65 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 1d20+7=11 ...Screw you Invisible Castle. Blowing an HP for a reroll. 1d20+7=14 Plus Hero Point bonus = 24. So, one bruise that goes away now that I'm up anyway. Since these are minions, Wisp'll take ten and power-attack -3 atk/+3 DC on a goonsweep. DC25 from each please.
Raveled Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Defense 20, and taking 10 on an attack Wisp would hit that exactly so there's no addition from the autofire. Minion A & B's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+10=15, 1d20+10=27) One survives.
Aoiroo Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Not for long, taking ten with Changeling's strike, DC 19 will drain save, DC 27 will save.
Raveled Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Will save, vs DC 19 Drain. (1d20+6=25) No drain there! Will save, vs DC 27 Damage. (1d20+6=23) And he goes down the count anyway.
Raveled Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 I think we can keep the same initiatives for the heroes. Goanna spends his first turn Raging and taunting. Goanna's Initiative. (1d20+4=23) Goanna -- Uninjured -- GM Glowstar -- Bruised -- HP x5 Wisp -- Unhurt -- HP x2 Changeling -- Unhurt HPx3
Azuth65 Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Wisp's going to fire off a blast of her cosmic energy at the creep's face. 1d20+8=17 ...So glad his defense is a 16 while he's raging. That's a DC 27 toughness save.
Raveled Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Goanna's Toughness save, vs DC 27. (1d20+12=30) Sorry, no dice Zu.
Aoiroo Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Changeling's turn, 17, that's a hit cause he's raging right? DC 19 Will save for Drain, and DC 27 will save for damage.
Raveled Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Will save, vs DC 19 Drain. (1d20+10=26) Much better start to things this time around. Will save, vs DC 27 Damage. (1d20+10=12) Not... Quite like that, though. Gonna fiat that to Bruise x2, rather than Stagger him off the bat.
Raveled Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Goanna's up, and he's gonna start by spitting paralytic acid at the only one who's been able to hurt him much these last couple of fights. Goanna's Paralyze w/ +2 Accurate Attack & +2 All-Out Attack, vs Changeling's Defense. DC 18 Fortitude. (1d20+14=27) That is some kind of beautiful. Goanna's Def is 14 for the next couple of rounds, though. Glowstar's gonna do what he does best: blow stuff up. Glowstar's Multi-Blast w/ full All-Out Attack, vs Goanna's Def. DC 25 + Autofire 3. (1d20+15=16)
Aoiroo Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Ouch, natural 1, which is 8, so she fails by 10. She is paralyzed.
Azuth65 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Wisp's going to try the energy to face trick again, only harder. Power attacking -5 atk/+5 DC. 1d20+3=21 Goanna needs a DC 32 toughness save.
Raveled Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 Goanna's Toughness save, vs DC 32. (1d20+10=16) And he's out.
