Raveled
Ludwig's Initiative. (1d20+2=7) Thug Group 1 and 2, Initiative. (1d20+1=10, 1d20+1=5) Link to comment
Lone Star
He goes on a 7. Alright, I'll spend a Hero Point to power-stunt a General Burst Area Fear Control effect, with the subtle extra. So that's a DC 21 Reflex save for the lot, and a DC 21 Will save vs. having the bejesus scared out of them. :P Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig! Thug Group 1 and 2, Initiative. (1d20+1=10, 1d20+1=5) Nope! Will save, vs DC 21. (1d20+6=22) Ha! But he makes that one! The droogs are all minions, so they go fleeing. Link to comment
Lone Star
He also activates his shield so he doesn't die! Link to comment
Lone Star
Will save 19 for our ol' Ludwig. Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig's melee attack vs Warlock's Defense. DC 25 (1d20+10=11) Ouch! Link to comment
Raveled
Reflex save, vs DC 19 (1d20+5=16) Missed that Reflex save. Will save, vs DC 19. (1d20+6=20) ha ha! Still in this! Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig unarmed w/ full All-Out Attack, vs Warlock's Defense. (1d20+15=29) Ha! That hits. DC 25 Toughness, Warlock. Link to comment
Lone Star
Blake rolls a 22, so he's got a Bruise. No matter. He'll try to use his Sleeping Powder again. That's another DC 19 Reflex Save, and a DC 19 Will. :argh: Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig's Reflex save, vs DC 19. (1d20+5=9) Yeah, that's... not so much. Ludwig's Will save, vs DC 19. (1d20+6=25) Still not going down! Man! Melee attack roll, vs Warlock's Defense. (1d20+10=30) Ouch. I'm gonna go with the additional effect rule, and put a rank 10 Stun effect on that; give me a DC 20 Will save on top of the DC 25 Toughness, please Warlock. Link to comment
Lone Star
Blake rolls a 24 for the save, which isn't bad, so that's another Bruise. Ouch, only a 14. I'll spend a second HP for a reroll. Reroll: He makes a 17 since he rolled under 10, so that's a 26 total. So Warlock will end up taking another Bruise, but he'll try the Sleeping Dust again. Third time's a charm. Link to comment
Raveled
Reflex save, vs DC 19 (1d20+5=6) Nope! Again! Will save, vs DC 19 (1d20+6=24) Still not a thing. Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig's melee attack, w/ full Power Attack, vs Warlock's Defense. DC 30. (1d20+5=22) Oh, WTF IC? Link to comment
Lone Star
Blake rolls a 25...so he's Stunned and takes another Bruise. Blake will spend a HP to remove his Stunned condition. As his Standard Action, Blake will take a swig of his Healing Potion. I rerolled to make it fair, but Blake rolls far over what he needed to, and heals himself completely. For his Move Action, he'll teleport out of the droogie's line of sight. Link to comment
Lone Star
Blake will get a surprise attack against the droog and use his TK Ring. And not bad! He rolls a 23. I'd assume that hits, and that's a DC 25 Toughness for our bratchny droog. Link to comment
Raveled
What exactly is Warlock doing with his TK ring? He doesn't have Damaging on the Move Object, so it can't be that. Link to comment
Lone Star
He'll use his Sleeping Powder again. DC 19 Will. Link to comment
Raveled
Reflex save, vs DC 19. (1d20+5=18) And now it worked. Will save, vs DC 19. (1d20+6=25) And no, again. Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig's Disarm attempt w/ All-Out Attack, vs Warlock's Def. (1d20+15=28) Hits, so opposed Dam vs Str. Ludwig's Dam check, vs Warlock's Str. (1d20+10=14) If this works you'll get an HP for it, don't worry. Link to comment
Lone Star
Warlock rolls a 1. Phail. Link to comment
Raveled
Grab a HP! Ludwig takes away the powder! Link to comment
Lone Star
I'll use that HP to Power Stunt the following... Drain Strength 9 (Extras: Ranged, Alternate Save [Will, +0] Feats: Slow Fade 5, Improved Critical 2) (25 pp) And he will use it! Hells yeah! A 24 attack roll. I'd assume that hits, and that's a DC 19 Will to avoid being drain-ulated. Link to comment
Raveled
Ludwig's Will save, vs DC 19 Drain. (1d20+6=18) He suffers one. Point. Of Str Drain. Good lord. Well, he's down to 29/19 now, so at least his Damage drops a notch. Ludwig takes a swing in return! Ludwig's melee attack, vs Warlock's Def. DC 24. (1d20+10=17) Wiff. Maybe the first one in this fight, I'm not sure. Link to comment
Raveled
Cue new ally, and a new attack! Ludwig's Reflex save, vs DC 20 Snare. (1d20+5=16) He's entangled. Def -2, Att -2. Ludwig's melee attack, vs Snare. DC 25 (1d20+10=27) Well, I'm pretty sure that hits. Snare's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+10=21) Snare is now Rank 9. Warlock's up. Link to comment
