MarkK Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Battleships actually have an oddly high toughness save Also, behold the magic of M&M! Non lethal hits are simply non lethal hits, regardless of value. There's not really a particular need to call for pulling damage. It works like comics that way, where the Hulk can punch through a tank, but not Captain America's torso.

Veiled Malice Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Yeah, I suppose. But I don't think the guy will be getting up again anytime... ever. :D

MarkK Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Honestly, he really would just be KO'd, unless we're going to a very iron age optional rules place..

Veiled Malice Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 No, no worries about that. I just find it funny.

MarkK Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 I felt the need to defend Captain Wonder from potentially having a Superboy Prime moment inflicted on him anyway :P

Veiled Malice Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Feh. Infinite Crisis jumped back and forth between lethal and non-lethal damage so many times I didn't know if I was reading something from the Iron or Golden ages.

MarkK Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 It's best just to file it under "crap writing" and leave it at that.

shazam Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 For the record, if the Nazi had murdered the mother and little boy right in front of him, Captain Wonder would have punched his head off...then APed Time Travel off his Flight, gone back in time, and done it again!

Veiled Malice Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 And I think that's the game. Unless The Emissary has something to add, we can wrap this sucker up.

MarkK Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Nah, that's fine. He probably would look into trying to find the WWII era Johnny Rocket to chat up, and because he's thorough, find up what the heck happened as far as that whole Shadow thing in the first place, but that's backgroundish sorts of stuff. Thanks for letting me take part, was fun.

Veiled Malice Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 Yeah, sorry for not having a bigger part for Emissary, but I figured having Superior drop in unannounced might be a bit much.
