Large Robot #3 3 Uninjured Protectron is up and I'll give him an HP for his responsibility given that he is battling his mechanical brethren to preserve the weak organics.
Dr Archeville Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Sorry, guys, didn't realize I was holding this up! Looks like we've got a small problem, though: by the RAW, I don't think you can use an HP to clear a Dazed condition, so there's nothing Protectron can do. (I've brought this up in the RefCave.)
Dr Archeville Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Okay, cleared it with the RefCave, spending an HP to clear Dazed is allowed. Reaction: Spend 1 HP to nix Dazed (1 HP remains now). Keeping Fatigued; -1 Attack & Defense, -2 Str & DexReaction: HP for Heroic Heat, to gain Improved Throw (0 HP remains now)Move Action: Body moves to Large Robot #3Standard Action: Body attempts to trip Large Robot #3Trip melee attack; All-out Attack (+2 Attk/-2 Def) (1d20+8=26)Str check, opposed by Large 'Bot's Dex check (1d20+8=19) Free Action: Extra Effort to SURGE; will be Exhausted at beginning of next round Move Action: Head moves toward Mysterious Controller (can't charge due to being Fatigued) Standard Action: Head charges Mysterious Controller All-out Attack (+2 Attk/-2 Def), Power Attack (-2 Attk/+2 Dmg); DC 25 Toughness if it hits (1d20+6=23) End Result: Fatigued, 0 HP; will be Exhausted at beginning of next turn

Raveled Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 So did the Disable Device check work? Seems like it didn't, but I want to make sure.
angrydurf Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 Ah yes. thought I had posted that. 25 does not disable his device. Skill mastery will reveal that it is some kind of focused electromagnet. With your understanding of magnetic fields it really shouldn't work but it seems by design it could reach into low orbit and adjust trajectories of satellites. Perhaps with enough of a burst of power even pull something down over the city. Which could of course be rather catastrophic.
Raveled Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 So we can see the big electromagnet? Okay, Clad's going the direct route -- hero smash! Ironclad's ranged attack check w/ +5/-5 All-Out Attack & +5/-5 Power Attack, vs. electromagnet. DC 30 Tou (1d20+10=12) Oh you . Rerolling that. Ironclad's ranged attack check w/ +5/-5 All-Out Attack & +5/-5 Power Attack, vs. electromagnet. DC 30 Tou. Reroll (1d20+10=29) Why, IC? Why do you make me hurt you?
