Ozob Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 Oh my. I'll do the intimidate at lunch when I write up the response. However, in the mean time, could I also get a notice check from everyone not in the store. Now, the question to ponder is whether to give a nice fat +2 for a nice intimidate, or does that get balanced out by the indignation at the false accusation... I think I'll go with the +2 for well said. His check will come in a couple hours.
quotemyname Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Cool, so that's actually a DC 16, then Covalent will take 10 on Notice with Skill Mastery for a result of 20.
Ozob Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 Noted. Alex got a 9 on his intimidate. I'll post at lunch when I have time to do the whole post. roll 9 - 1 = 8
Ozob Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 When those of you see this, if you pass a DC20 notice check, you notice two guys standing outside a Wolf Camera. They are looking like they are standing guard for something. This is only enforced by the outline of concealed firearms under jackets. Both are dressed in overcoats and wearing sunglasses inside the relatively bright mall interior. They actually stop a customer from entering and relatively politely direct them elsewhere.
quotemyname Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Ozob, are you waiting for everyone's notice checks to be in before you want people to post? So far, Zach is the only one to make it. (He auto hits DC 20 with Skill Mastery). Would you like us to post in any certain order? I don't want to put up an IC post before you're ready for it is the issue.
Ozob Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Yes I was waiting for Subito since Heritage is in the store, but its been long enough, so go ahead and post. We'll just assume he failed.
Ari Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Sorry, didn't know you wanted the IC responses directly after the check.
Ozob Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 I had given the results of the notice in ooc... I can see the results of the confusion. My fault. Even worse, I missed your notice check. Again my fault. Quote your response. You see the guys and that's where we stand.
Ari Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Nah, this is what I got: Notice check: 13, nope, he doesn't see them.
quotemyname Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 zach's complication: Love The Job basically is going to compel him to want to start a fight with the guys that are acting like bullies. Just as it did with Alex. Love The Job: Zach was indoctrinated into the program to fight for his planet's freedom at a very young age. Though many children show the required genetic markers, few really shine on the path they are bred to take. Zach, however, seemed born for it. On Tecton, he fought tooth and nail to defend his friends, family, people, and world. On earth, his devotion does not waver. He will fight equally hard for any cause he believes in, never giving in even when another option is by far an easier one. He's bumping them to try and see if he can physically detect whether or not he's hiding a gun beneath that jacket.
Ozob Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 Goon tries to grab Zach by the shoulder. Roll 8 +2 = 10 This would also put us in rounds and initiative after this post. Everyone please give my an init. Current Order: Goon 2: Roll 17 + 1 = 18 Goon 1: Roll 10 + 1 = 11 Subito: 10
quotemyname Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Plus one rank of luck gives Zach 3HP currently. Even flat-footed, a 10 misses Zach. Initiative (1d20+2=21) EDIT: Going to taunt him a bit more. Now that he's no longer doing any bumping, Zach will activate his Sparse form. He's also going to slink away around the corner to quick change...
Ari Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Sorry for falling behind in this, no adequate excuse for it. Subito is going to try and get a handle on what the two guys are doing out the front of the shop like that. So move action over to them, then a Diplomacy check to convince them to tell him what's up so that people know everything's on the level. 30.
