Raveled
Starlight's Will save, vs DC 20. (1d20+8=20) The power of the Light shields you! Link to comment
Supercape
Depending on exactly the style you are using, could you throw me an INterrogation or diplomacy roll? A sense motive roll for prosperity too, although your inspiration has got the bulk of this. Oh, and a notice roll! :D Link to comment
Raveled
Skill Mastery! Skill Mastery! ALL the Skill Mastery! 18 for Diplomacy, 22 for Sense Motive, and 22 for Notice. Link to comment
Supercape
OK: First off "Four Onety-Two" would be 412, not 422... could you edit? Second off... you do have a habit of touching contagious people... DC 20 Will check! Although the tactic is very groovy - with your skill mastery in diplomacy that will work well! Link to comment
Raveled
Starlight's Will save, vs DC 20. (1d20+8=11) :( Link to comment
Supercape
OK you have an oppurtunity here to roleplay as a mind controlled Starlight As you know, the mind controller is just an angry scared young child, bent on michief and destruction - it is basically having a tantrum. So go wild! Hero Points are up for grabs here for role playing and complications. And of course you can use them to free yourself from the grasp of the mind control. The control itself is sustained, so you get another saving throw in a minute, 5 minutes, 20, etc... Link to comment
Raveled
Let me know when a minute's passed and Starlight can save again. Link to comment
Supercape
OK make another save at this juncture: For reference, the power you are dealing with here is: Mind Control 10 [Extras] Make the rolls until Stalight comes to, and I will GM where she "comes too"! Link to comment
Raveled
Starlight's successive Will saves, vs DC 20. (1d20+8=27, 1d20+8=23, 1d20+8=9, 1d20+8=14, 1d20+8=17) Hah. Seems like I didn't need quite that many. Link to comment
Supercape
Shrugged it off in 1 minute! Ok I have posted as if Starlight has been under mind control and on a rampage for a minute and just woken up from it. I hope it reads reasonably ok. Let me know if you would like any edits, did my best! :) Link to comment
Raveled
Starlight's using her Healing power in her White Light array on the woman. Please, please, please just let her be unconscious... Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+7=10 recovery roll - probably academic, but yes, she makes it and is now staggered. (NB: Treating her as a bystander) Link to comment
Raveled
I knew this was going to happen. Stunting the following off the Mystic Light Array. Emotion Control 10 (Extra: Contagious, Flaw: Limited [Calm], Drawback Noticeable) [19PP] Link to comment
Supercape
Just going to clarify this with you Rav, as I think there is a subtle difference: You could directly emotion control (which she is almost certainly going to fail save on), and she remains calm but still under the influence so to speak. Or use that as a counter power, in which case its a 50/50 chance of completely breaking her free from control. I am presuming its the former, but just want to check... Link to comment
Supercape
As per chat, its the former (sorry been v busy RL!)... Save fails, posting IC. Saying you are fatigued from stunt for now (feel free to burn off with HP) as you did not specify. Starlight 3 Hero Points - Fatigued Link to comment
Raveled
Oh-kay. Spending a HP to negate that Fatigue and stunting a new power off her Super-Senses array. Super-Senses 3 (Visual; Detect Psychic effects; Tracking 3) [6PP] Gonna track the shiz-nit out of this guy and wreck his day. Link to comment
Supercape
Starlight 2 Hero Points - Fatigued The psychic force does indeed come from the baby... but as you did a cool stunt I'll give ya something more hint-wise... In the mean time, trouble ahoy! Link to comment
Raveled
Starlight will spend a HP to get rid of that Fatigued and stunt again, this time off her White Light array. Nullify 10 (Mind Control, Extras: Area/Burst [General], Effortless, Flaw: Range/Touch) Link to comment
Supercape
Starlight 1 Hero Point Ok as you can basically keep firing this off until nullified, I wont roll. Its nullified. However, the baby / toddler is not mind controlled (as you 'sense' when activating the array)... the little one has been mind controlling everyone else! Link to comment
Supercape
In addition, Starlight can now morph again! The little ones mental powers had been blocking that from you [a PLX plot device]. Feel free to use appropriate psychobabble on that. The basic premise being the mental powers activate primitive fears, or repressed thoughts / feelings, like a child. Link to comment
Supercape
OK, going to move into end-stage now. Apart from the social aspect to this... If you wish, could play this out so that Starlight gets an obsessive police detective who suspects something is up (based on todays events) - Giving a complication and possible threads for the future. I leave this up to you how you would like to play it out. Link to comment
Raveled
Starlight can Skill Master Bluff at 22. Link to comment
