Supercape Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 OOC For this thread. Silhouette gains 1 Hero Point for Secret ID complication straight off. Silhouette 4 Hero Points
Aoiroo Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Heh, time skip, cause Sil split. I say it takes two days for him to find the place she used to live(an appartment in the Fens which lease ended in July) Carrie now lives out of a previously wrecked video store that's now disguised as a storefront for sale which has her HQ in the basement. The current place isn't listed but she still passes her old place when she walks to the Theatre District (which she still does cause gas is expensive).
Supercape Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 For acting heroically - not giving into the offer of working for cash! one hero point! Silhouette - 5 Hero Points!
Aoiroo Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Burning HP for well connected and having Dragonfly do an internet search fi you don't mind, 34 research on our annoying friend.
Supercape Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Sounds good to me, and feel free to invite Rav to do a cameo post in thread. West and Oshima: Are a firm who specialise in setting up what can only be described as "industrial espinionage", if one reads between the lines - and countering it. Hacking, bugging, etc. They set up offices, operation stations, prefab buildings, to spy on people, then tear them down when the heat gets to much. They do work for the CIA and FBI and all sorts of other firms - and the Mob too. Recently they have got into all sorts of hot water - or rather, Oshima has. West seems to want to pull out, and "let Oshima go" - West appears more "moral" - although he is hardly clean. Oshima has links to all sorts of mob sorts including organised crime from abroad, and "heavy" businesses. He bet heavily on getting some inside stock exchange information, it didn't pan out, and now he owes big time. Personally, he has a wife and two teenage sons. He is thirty nine years old, has a masters degree in information technology and engineering, and is judged very bright. He briefly served in the army as an IT specialist - probably where he picked up some of his skills to set up his business with West (also an ex-army IT specialist). There is a lot of other information you can get if you wish. Silhouette 4 Hero Points!
Aoiroo Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Dragonfly is played by Fox, Ironclad is played by Rav. Anyway, how would you like to proceed. Maybe like a week later he comes up and finds that he has some sort of evidence(probably her leaving a bathroom as Silhouette caught on a camera as another shadow on the wall. Then she is then actually forced into something. Also, spend an HP to have master plan, cause Sil's a plotting something.
Supercape Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 I was thinking of some story around Oshima trying to collect some evidence by trying to "force" you into action. Your thoughts? Hold off an that master plan for now.
Aoiroo Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Well I guess, the best way to do that would be for Oshima to try and force Carrie into a situation where she would have to use her powers.
Supercape Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 Car is going to try and ram Carrie. Could you make a fairly straightforward Reflex Save? DC 12... (Straightforward for Carrie, anyway...)
Aoiroo Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Heh, straightforward in the sense that she is physically incapable of missing this reflex save. Anyway, let's roll, 23, yeah, she avoids it.
Supercape Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 OK lets make some initiative rolls. In this situation hard to see how anyone can be flat footed even if they lose initiative. 1d20+1=20 for the Suits.
Aoiroo Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 27 boyaah, if either of them are armed, disarm attempt on Suits, 29, looks like a hit, so time for the strengh roll for them to roll strengh against, 21, so DC 21 strengh roll for the suits to keep their weapon.
Supercape Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 At the moment, the car doors are locked, windows are up... Of course, thats not a problem for 2 dimensional heroes... But that might be a problem! :)
Aoiroo Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Okie dokie, can we save those for later then, and just say she ran all out for this round.
Supercape Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 NOt strictly in combat now, but taking it round by round. YOu have a 1 round head start, two men in suits taking chase on foot, car also following.
Supercape Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 I am going to propose a GM Fiat here, the suits are going to bribe the bouncer to let them in. Sound ok?
Aoiroo Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Got a stealth roll for her hiding behind the bathroom door. DC 36 for the suits to notice her on the way in.
Supercape Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 THey cannot possibly make that - consider yourself stealthed!
Supercape Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 Can you toss me an intimidate roll for that, Roo? Ill give a -2 penalty as you are just a girl against two highly trained agents (in their minds...!). Its not a failure means they will attack etc, its just whether they will fall for the demands you make on them. DC 16
Aoiroo Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I'll pay an HP to add +4 to Carrie's non-existant intimidation skill, and -2 from that is +2, so 16, hah.
Aoiroo Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Nevermind that, she didn't make it as there's no +2, so HP instead goes to a reroll, 12, well shoot.
Aoiroo Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Huh, what would be the sleight of hand DC for Carrie to pick up the recorder and slip out the memory card. Whatever, is the recorder on the table, so here's the roll, DC 23 then I suppose.
Supercape Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 I would have to give that a -2 penalty as its particularly tricky! However, 1d20+6=16 for their notice. Success!!!
