trollthumper Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 She is now a puddle of headmistress, and the ice snare hits. She will need to have some sort of positive STR score to be able to affect her condition, and that's not going to happen for a while. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 7 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x2, Dazed (Wraith's Action), 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 2 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, Dazed (Sage's Action), 0 HP Dark Young 3: 3, Bruised x1, Dazed (CT's Action), Staggered, 0 HP The two Dark Young are still Dazed, so it's Sage's turn next.
April Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Standard Action: Leadership, spending Hero Point to cancel Fatigue on Kimber (Ghost Girl). Move Action: Fast Task: Acrobatic Bluff (DC35) Dark Young 1, Set Up to transfer bonus to Wraith. Extra Effort: Surge: Move Action: Acrobatic Bluff (DC35) Dark Young 2, Set Up to transfer bonus to Cobalt Templar. Reaction: Spend HP to Cancel Fatigue 2 HP spent, Sage has 5.
trollthumper Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 Oh, yeah, they're definitely falling for that. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x2, Dazed (Wraith's Action), 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 2 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, 0 HP Dark Young 3: 3, Bruised x1, Dazed (CT's Action), Staggered, 0 HP As Dark Young 1 is currently Dazed, Summers can easily escape by using Skill Mastery to take 10 on an Escape Artist check for a total result of 22. He then Power Attacks and smacks the thing with his cane, for good measure. That hits, so it needs to make a DC24 Toughness save. Which it does. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x2, 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 2 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, 0 HP Dark Young 3: 3, Bruised x1, Dazed (CT's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Wraith is up next.
Fox Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Melee Attack Roll vs. Dark Young (whip-blades; Power Attack -5/+5, All-Out Attack +2/-2) (1d20 + 10 - 5 + 2=11) .....I reject you! HP to reroll. Because @#$% that. Melee Attack REROLL vs. Dark Young (whip-blades; Power Attack -5/+5, All-Out Attack +2/-2) (1d20 + 10 - 5 + 2=23) That'll do. DC30 Toughness for the Dark Young. If, and only if, it's still up, extra effort to SURGE: Melee Attack Roll vs. Dark Young (SURGE; whip-blades; Power Attack -5/+5, All-Out Attack +2/-2) (1d20 + 10 - 5 + 2=15)
trollthumper Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 It makes the first save, is Bruised and Dazed on the second. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x3, Dazed (Wraith's Action), 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 1 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, 0 HP Dark Young 3: 3, Bruised x1, Dazed (CT's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Cobalt Templar is up next.
KnightDisciple Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Third verse, same as the first. Free Action: All-Out Attack 5: Defense Bonus is 1, Attack is 16 Power Attack 5: Attack is 11, Save DC is 31 Standard Action: Smash Dark Young 3! 26 ought to hit. DC 31 Toughness Save.
trollthumper Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 It fails the Toughness save by 10, and since it's already Staggered, it drops. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x3, Dazed (Wraith's Action), 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 1 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, 0 HP Collins would go next, but she's still a creepsicle, so Citizen is up next.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Citizen: Sharl flies up to Dark Young 1 and punches it. Boom DC 28 Tou save.
trollthumper Posted February 2, 2012 Author Posted February 2, 2012 Its Daze refreshes, and it is now Staggered. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x3, Dazed (Citizen's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 1 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -12 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 4 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, 0 HP Papercut is up next.
Electra Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Papercut is going to keep his array tuned to maintaining the box, just in case Collins is shamming about being frozen solid. He's also going to stay in the air and out of reach. So basically not doing anything new this round.
trollthumper Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 That will do nicely. Collins is remaining in icebox form. Ghost Girl is up next.
Gizmo Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Ghost Girl Move Action: Float over to Dark Young 2 Standard Action: Chill of the Grave. (1d20+11=12) ...sad. Hero Point: Chill of the Grave, HP reroll. (1d20+11=14) So 24. Yeesh. Anyway, that's a DC 21 Fort Save against Drain Strength, to be clear.
trollthumper Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 And he loses 9 STR. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x3, Dazed (Citizen's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 1 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -11 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 3 HP Dark Young 2: 6, Unharmed, Staggered, -9 STR, 0 HP Dark Young 2 looms towards Wraith -- but that's all it can do, as it's Staggered. Sage is up next.
April Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Move Action: Fast Acrobatic Feint DC35 vs. Dark Young 2 Standard Action: Power Attack (+5 Damage/-1 Attack) (1d20+11=21) vs Dark Young 2 using Will Based Psychic Blade (IC roll info says Dark Young 1, please ignore that). DC30 Will Save. With Dark Young 2 out of the fight... Surge: Standard Action: Aid Wraith's Attack (1d20+16=25) vs Dark Young 1 (DC10): Wraith gets +5 to her next attack roll. Spend an HP to negate Fatigue.
trollthumper Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Dark Young 2 totally falls for it, and goes to pieces. Sage: 34, Unharmed, 5 HP Summers: 23, Unharmed, 0 HP Dark Young 1: 21, Bruised x3, Dazed (Citizen's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Wraith: 20, Unharmed, 1 HP Cobalt Templar: 20, Bruised x1, 1 HP Collins: 19, Unharmed, Bound, -11 Strength, Frozen, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 0 HP Papercut: 16, Bruised x1, 4 HP Ghost Girl: 14, Unharmed, 3 HP Summers is up next, and decides to Startle the remaining Dark Young. He scores a 31, which it really can't beat. So, Wraith is up next.
Fox Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Mama said knock you out. Melee Attack Roll vs. Dark Young 1 (Power Attack -5/+5, Aid Attack (Sage) +5) (1d20 + 10 - 5 + 5=26) Hurrah! DC30 toughness. SURGE (only if it's still on its feet): SURGE: Melee Attack Roll vs. Dark Young 1 (Power Attack -5/+5) (1d20 + 10 - 5=24) HAHA! Yesssssss. That's a roll of 19; Wraith has Improved Crit up right now. I'll go for the straight +5, so that's DC35. IC pending.
trollthumper Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 First it's Bruised, and its Daze refreshes. And then it fails its Toughness save by 10, meaning it goes down. We are out of rounds.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Sharl is doing what he describes himself as doing IC, using the Datalink in his Tronik array to pull it off.
KnightDisciple Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Hm. Papercut's hurt. And while OOC I know we're probably basically done, IC it might be good to make sure we're prepared in case combat happens again. Or something to that affect. So, while I don't feel like exact number crunching, CT's going to stunt Healing off of his Fires of Judgement array (he's done it before) and go help Papercut. He won't be burning an HP just yet, so he'll eat the Fatigue for now, if it matters.
