I use to perform under the stage name Annice Averbury, now I much prefer Annice Stone.

I was born in 1991, I’m almost old enough to be able to drink in the US.

Shapely. One good thing about no longer being a manufactured act is that I’m allowed to have curves.

Practically perfect in every way ïŠ.

With a certain confidence, though with all the grace of a herd of elephants.

I normally wear it loose.

Others seem to think so.

Only than a small scar where I was shot.

Where do you come from?

Have you made any major moves, or do you live in your hometown?

We tended to travel around a bit when I was younger. But somehow I managed to pick up a North London accent.

Do you feel loyal to your country of citizenship? Do you consider yourself patriotic? How do you feel about the government of your country?

I’m proud of what my country has achieved but not to the point of blind loyalty.

How do you feel about the place you come from?

It’s such a vibrant place, not I admit without problems, but I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Where is your home town? What was/is it like?

North London

Growing up, were most of the people you knew similar to you, or were you somehow a minority? How did that affect you?

Where I was growing up was such a multi-cultural place I never felt I was a minority.

Is there something you've always been really good at or really bad at? How has that affected your life?

I can carry a tune.

Were there any traumatic experiences in your early years (death of a family member, abandonment, orphaned at an early age)?

I’ve been lucky to avoid major trauma.

Briefly describe a defining moment in your childhood and how it influenced your life.

When I was about 10 I was standing in front of the family singing along to a record. And I thought “This is what I want to do.â€

What stupid things did you do when you were younger?

Well there was this time when I and Sheena raided my parents liquor cabinet and got blitzed on Rum.

As we moved around a lot I attended a lot of schools, and to put it one way I’ve never been an academic person.

Do you have any mementos of your childhood? What are they, and why did you keep them? If you have none, why not?

I have a box full of videos of me singing at various school events and talent shows.

When did you decide to become a hero? Why? Did anyone influence you one way or another in the decision?

When I woke up and found I had this power.

Is the reason you give people for becoming a hero different than your real reason? If so, why?

Nope.

Do you have any deep, dark secrets in the past that may come back to haunt you?

Does winning a TV talent show count?

I’m a performer, Annice is a hyper-real version of myself.

Yes

My parents own a New Age bookshop. Some in the community might look down on them, but they make sure they do there bit for everyone.

Where are your parents now?

Still working in there shop.

We moved around quite a bit when I was younger.

I love them to bits.

They would be proud of me whatever I was doing.

Well there is my cousin Michael on my dad’s side. He’s a bit of a Grifter.

My mums is into Past Live regression, I have famous ancestor right back to the Stone Age.

Well there is this one guy, well two, but nothing to serious.

I’m afraid I pushed all my friends away when I was (moderately) famous.

I’m tentatively trying to get back in touch with Sheena, but its early days.

I know this one. It was my parents, and strangely my manager. Maybe I do have one friend.

Being shot I think counts.

Family, friends and maybe fans.

All I really have is family.

One thing I learned to appreciate is honesty, you know what people really think about you and your ability. I try to be as honest as I can.

I’ve gone for the whole Hannah Montana thing. I wouldn’t have dared to try a keep a secret like that from my parents

I like to think so.

Did you ever become disillusioned with former heroes or idols? If so, why and what were the circumstances?

I like my heroes to have feet of clay, you have to do a lot before I’d be disillusioned. Maybe if they did a Gary Glitter…

Do you like being a hero? If so, what is the most rewarding part? If not, what makes you keep doing it?

Are you kidding I get to fly!

Is there anything that would make you give up hero work, or even switch sides?

If it was a choice between being a hero and being a musician, it would be close but I think I’d rather be a musician.

What are your short term goals (what would you like to be doing within a year)?

Another shot at the chats would be nice, maybe even in America.

What are your long term goals (what would you like to be doing twenty years from now)?

You know those Blues men who are singing in there 80’s, I want to be like one of those artists.

What is your greatest fear? Why? What do you do when something triggers this fear?

Losing my voice. I’m not sure how I could carry on if I couldn’t sing.

Is there anything you would give you life for?

How do you feel about money and material wealth? Do you desire it or disdain it? Are you miserly with what you have, or do you like to share? Is it a mark of success, or a means to an end?

I’ve had some wealth and lost it all. I’ve learnt not to take it for granted now I’m lucky to have gained some money again.

I’m trying to treat people better, as equals. It took the loss of a lot to realize this.

I’m trying, but I’ve been burnt quite a few times over the last couple of years.

I’m quite an extrovert, my confidence has been dented by recent events but it’s still quite strong. How could I stand up in front of people to sing otherwise?

I’ve tried to be the demure wallflower, but it just doesn’t work. I tend to take control of the situation.

My mum and dad taught me never to judge anyone.

My Gran makes a mean Jerk Chicken.

A nice Rum and Coke, why can’t a drink over here?

Clichéd I know but I love my chocolate.

I’ll try anything once.

I’m a fan of yellows and greens.

I’ve been given a glimpse of a vast vista of generations of past lives as young Britannia. How could I not be affected in some way?

Was your faith influenced or molded by anyone special?

My Mum and Dad were into their New Age ideas. I picked up one of two along the way.

If you belong to a religious organization, how often do you attend? Do you have a specific place of worship, or friends within the organization? How much do you agree with the beliefs of your organization?

I follow my religious idea in my own private ways.

Could you kill? Have you killed?

No, no I don’t think I could.

What circumstances led to you forming that conviction, or taking that action?

I just can’t see what would drive me to do such a thing.

Are there circumstances under which you believe it is permissible to kill? What are they?

No I don’t think there are.

How would you react to watching someone kill another person? Would your reaction be different if the killer was a friend or an enemy of yours?

I would try my hardest to stop such a thing. It would be a terrible thing to see, however was being harmed.

How would you react if something important was stolen from you?

Depend but probably try to get the item back.

How would you react to public humiliation?

I’ve been public humiliated, it thankfully made me a better person.

How would you react if a good friend or relative were purposely or accidentally killed? Has it happened to you?

I want to bring the killer to justice.

What do you consider to be the worst crime someone could commit and why?

Slavery, it’s taking away somebodies freedom and trying to crush there will.

If your life were to end in 24 hours, what five things would you do in those remaining hours?

In no particular order: Fly into Space, Sing at a big Stadium like the O2, Have a big meal with my family, Meet some of my heroes, take some man flying and well you know.

No.

I have all the knowledge and experience of all the women who have been Young Britannia.

Just my singing.

I’m a singer and now it seems a business woman.

To hit them hard and fast.

I almost got the best Newcomer at the Brit’s

I wish I could dance, my dad says I got my dancing ability from my Mum.

How do you act around people who are more skilled than you in areas you'd like to improve? Are you jealous, or do you try and learn?

Lifestyle & Hobbies

What is a normal day for you? How do you feel when something interrupts this routine?

I spend my day’s singing, recording or promoting. I’ve never had time for a strict routine.

Do you have any hobbies, or interests outside hero work? What are they, and where did you pick them up?

Music is my first love.

What do you do for fun?

I’m lucky I enjoy what I do as a job.

Do you have a costume? What does it look like?

It’s a jumpsuit embossed with the Union Jack.

How do you normally dress when not in costume?

When not on stage I like to keep it practically. But I also like to keep up to date with fashion.

What do you wear to bed most nights?

An oversize Tee.

Do you wear any special jewelry? What is it, and what does it look like?

My lucky Mode Ring, a gift from my Mum.

Do you have a special place where you keep your valuables?

I don’t really have enough stuff to worry about this.

What's your preferred means of local travel? How about long distance?

I love to fly! I tend to fly as often as I can.

Have you ever made a will, or tried to make arrangements for your death? What provisions did you make?

My parents made some arrangements when things looked really bad. I’m not sure I want to know, not just yet.

If your features were to be destroyed beyond recognition, is there any other way of identifying your body?

Not really.

What would you like to be remembered for after your death?

My music.

Do you believe you pose a threat to the public? Why or why not?

I could be, I tend to hold back a little on my power so not to hurt anyone.

My stubbornness.

My ego. I have to make sure it never gets as inflated as it did when I was a star.

We are such stuff

Agnes was enjoying a nice dreamless sleep; the last few days had been rather fraught, when she finally came to see her.

This Spirit of Justice like her namesake had many faces, every few second her features would flawless chance from one to another without going any noticeable change. It’s was like some kind of stop animation and Agnes spent a few minutes silently admiring the effect. Finally she just had to speak.

“I bet the other one gets Frances Stewart in a funny hat with a shield I get you. Care to tell me why I’m stuck like this?â€

Since returning from 18th Century, and maybe before she had been stuck in her Young Britannia form, a 6 foot tall amazon, though at least she could turn off her aura. The spirit spoke in a cacophony of voices and languages from Middle English to modern street slang. She explained that Agnes had been chosen to be the spirits Avatar on Earth to further aid in her struggle for true justice. Agnes listened to the explanation but could only think of one thing

“Why?â€

But the spirit wouldn’t answer and the two stood in silence until Agnes smelled smoothing.

“Do you mind not smoking in my dream please?â€

She turned to see an older woman of somewhat noble bearing casually stubbing out a cigarette.

“Oh I’m sorry dear I got a little bored waiting. Don’t you see she scared.†With those cultured tones the penny dropped.

“Hey I know you, I use to be you…â€

“Ah yes the two spirits were linked during the war weren’t they. That tends to happen during a crisis. But you’ve been a naughty girl not contacting the Ministry after gaining you powers.â€

“Well what about that time in Paris during the war where you got “drunk†with all those GI, except you of cause was immune to alcohol. I seem to remember you left that out of your autobiography…â€

The older woman laughed at this “Oh I like you, your smart, witty, inventive I can see she the old girls made a good choice. But I think it’s time for answers I think it’s near dawn in your neck of the woods. She’s scared. Depressions tend to bring the lawlessness out in people, and after last year’s trouble she must have wanted someone who she could trust in to stick around. That good for you as an Avatar you can only grow in power, it’s not been unknown for an Avatar to gain both spirits when the times right.â€

The whole scene seemed to be fading away but the old woman voice keep going on strong.

“But really must meet. I’ll be keeping an eye on you in future young lady…â€
