April Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Eve's heart leaped at the sight of Etain, especially since it was an Etain that was acknowledging her existence. It didn't matter to the white-haired gymnast that she was still bound--though it should have--such was her sense of elation at not being ignored in this strange place, a sense of joy that was further reinforced when the illusionist produced a white rose--a flower that Eve held a special affection for. Breathing in the heady scent of the rose, the telepath closed her green eyes and leaned into the kiss as much as she could. She never noticed the rose being thrust into the soft flesh of her throat. There was a sharp spike of pain, and Eve was suddenly reeling backward. As the pain rapidly receded, the Martel heiress noted she was back in her living room, sitting on the carpeted floor as though dumped there in an unceremonious fashion with Etain still stretched out on the couch in front of her. Rubbing at her throat, and collecting her thoughts, Eve tried to form a question but managed to only make a confused sound.
Aoiroo Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Etains eyes opened slowly, her face was wet and got wetter as she leaned forward and looked at Eve laying on the floor. The warm salty flow down her cheeks was probably not so obvious in the darkness, but the slight reddening around Etain's nose and cheeks that followed contrasted heavily on her pale skin. She ran her fingers through her hairs, taking out the hair piece she had left in while she slept and letting the black loches fall around her face in unkept curls that were by the awkward sleep. She looked at her hands quietly as she messed with the hair clip, it was slightly bent and she she used her fingers to fix it slowly without looking up to see Eve. Though Eve could see the droplets fall onto Etains hand as she worked even if Etain herself ignored them. Etain just sat in quiet there, knowing where Eve was through her peripheral vision but not having the courage to look up and face her. However, after a moment time, she said in a somewhat choked voice, "I, I am so, very, incredibly sorry."
April Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 A subtle yellow-green glow enveloped a nearby tissue box as the young telepath stood up, readjusting and rebelting her robe before kneeling in front of Etain. Using her telekinesis, she plucked a few tissues from the box and with a gentle touch dabbed at the tears that stained her girlfriend's cheeks. When the illusionist started to issue her apology, Eve pressed a slender finger to Etain's lips to gently shush her. "" Eve said, speaking quietly in the dark in her native French, ""
Aoiroo Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Etain pushed away the finger, "" She returned in French as well, it wasn't as smooth as Eves, but it was more coherent then her English, with less edge or accent. Plucking a tissue of her own, she held it to her nose which was equally flooding. " She rubbed her eye a little, "" Tears began again, "" This time it was in Latin and the accent was gone it was fluent, and it was sad.
April Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Eve made a soft, sympathetic noise as she listened to Etain. Crouched where she was in front of the dark haired young woman, the telepath could plainly see the set of the illusionist’s features in the dim light. Eve rose up on her knees and slipped her arms around Etain, pulling her into a firm but comforting hug. Eve murmured into the side of Etain’s neck, She lightly kissed Etain on the neck and added,
Aoiroo Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Etain let her head rest on Eves shoulder, hugging her back tightly as she thought and then pulled her head back. "" She whispered it in Latin before she blinked and held Eve back with her hands on her shoulders. "" Etain blinked, her eyes flashing with an expression Eve had previously not seen, anger, ""
April Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Despite herself, Eve giggled and oh how she hated the way she sounded when she did that. Though Etain wasn't entirely accurate with regard to her telepathy, and how she maintained a near constant connection with everyone around her (though it was nothing truly invasive), she had to acknowledge that the illusionist was right, what happened was a deliberate. But what Etain just called Empath? Much too funny. "" Eve started to say when she could trust herself to speak with some gravity, ""
