trollthumper
All right, then. I'll say that Mutt can lead them out safely, and it's Equinox and Hayley's turn. Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
Hayley is going to run behind Equinox. She's going to use a move action feint, then zap it again. Feint! (1d20-4=0) Then, water blast. DC27 Blast, using Power Attack for 2 (1d20+9=29) BOOM! DC 32. Link to comment
trollthumper
And the bull goes down. I'd call Fiat here, but I think this bit's gone on for a while. Out of rounds. I'll get an IC post up after Ecal. Link to comment
trollthumper
Using Postcognition for the first time in forever. And a 27 on the Notice check. Let me just clean it up a little... Link to comment
Dr Archeville
The barrier would unleash a Triggered Damage 10. For pulling a Leeroy Jenkins, DH can take a Hero Point. And since it's magical damage, it bypasses his Impervious 12. Toughness save, DC 25 (1d20+18=19) Ha! DH takes 1 Injury and is Dazed. Both of which peel off next round. Damage 10 - Knockback -9 (vs. Magic) = 1 = knocked prone Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
Equinox will give it a shot! Only in a less gung ho manner. DC21 Concentration roll to maintain Impervious Toughness 11 as a move action (1d20+16=21) Alright, so she just barely manages to keep up her shield as a move action to enable her cutting at the spell with her sword. Nullify Magic, roll, inflicting a DC25 Toughness save afterwards if so applicable. (1d20+11=12) Um... Hero Point? Damn shoddy workmanship (1d20+11=15) And +10 makes it a respectable 25. trollthumper
And now it's time for the big fight - Equinox, Nick, Dead Head, and Baron Samedi versus Baron Kriminel! For ease of reference, I'll be using AA's Necromancer at PL12 for Baron Samedi, and for Baron Kriminel, I'll be using... Baron Kriminel. Baron Kriminel goes on 22. Baron Samedi goes on 19. Nick goes on 26. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Dead Head's initiative (1d20+2=18) Mutt's initiative (1d20+2=12) Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
Equinox Initiative, Hayley Initiative (1d20+1=11, 1d20+3=10) Link to comment
trollthumper
All right, here goes. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Unharmed, 4 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Unharmed, 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 4 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 5 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Nick throws a bolt of Ignis Fatuus at Baron Kriminel. It hits, necessitating a DC24 Will save. That... could've gone better. Instead of Staggered, however, we'll say Kriminel is Bruised x2. Everyone take an HP. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Unharmed, 5 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x2, 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 5 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 6 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Baron Kriminel manages to Regenerate one Bruised, then decides to go at Nick with The Steady Hands. Um... ow. That's a base DC28 + 5 for Crit + 5 for Autofire = DC38. Thank God for those HP. That's a 24, so... I think I'll risk an HP. Still not pretty, but still. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Bruised x1, Dazed (Baron Kriminel's Action), 4 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x1, 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 5 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 6 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Baron Samedi is up next. He decides to use the "curse words" power. As it's Sense-Dependent, Kriminel gets a DC22 Reflex save... and makes it, meaning he's immune. Dead Head is up next. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Future reference, Dead Head does have Interpose, so he will be flinging himself in front of Nick or 'Nox as needed. Dead Head: Holds until Mutt's turn Mutt Reaction: Un-De-Conceal himself Move Action: Run up to Kriminel Standard Action: Attack roll to Aid DH (DC 10) (1d20+6=18) Dead Head Move Action: Teleports to Kriminel Standard Action: Attack vs. Kriminel (Defense 23); Power Attack (-5 Attk/+5 Dmg), +2 from Mutt's Aid; DC 29 toughness if it hits (1d20+10=11) Attack vs. Kriminel (Defense 23); Power Attack (-5 Attk/+5 Dmg), +2 from Mutt's Aid; DC 29 Toughness if it hits; HP re-roll (1d20+10=29) Much better! So much better, in fact, I'm spending an HP to get Improved Critical (Shovel), so that's now a DC 34 Tougnhess save for Kriminel. DH has 2 HP now. Link to comment
trollthumper
Um. Ow? Awarding another Hero Point - Kriminel takes another Bruise and is Dazed, but is not knocked out. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Bruised x1, Dazed (Baron Kriminel's Action), 5 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x2, Dazed (Dead Head's Action), 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 6 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 7 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox is up next. Ecalsneerg
Equinox's action... Move Action - Use Flight until she's just over Kriminel's head Standard Action - Use the sword of JUSTICE! Power Attacking for 2, so... Roll to hit Kriminel, then Nullify Magic if appropriate. This is followed by a DC27 Toughness save (1d20+9=17, 1d20+13=18) Crap, fails to hit, so I'll blow a HP on it leaving her with 6... Rerolled hit vs Baron Kriminel (1d20+9=20) Well, cack. Hayley's action - All-out Movement away from the battle :P Link to comment
trollthumper
That is what it is, and what it is, is not getting past Baron Kriminel's Defense. Sorry, Ecal. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Bruised x1, Dazed (Baron Kriminel's Action), 5 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x2, Dazed (Dead Head's Action), 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 6 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 6 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Nick is still Dazed, but the expenditure of an HP will take care of that. He still his Array to Ereshkigal's Talons, and takes a swing at Kriminel. It fails to hit. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Bruised x1, 4 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x2, Dazed (Dead Head's Action), 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 6 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 6 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Kriminel is still Dazed, but his Regen requires No Action. Shame it doesn't work. Samedi's up next, and he switches to Telekinesis to hit Kriminel in the face. He's more successful, and Kriminel must make a DC27 Toughness save. He fails, his Daze refreshes, and he is now Staggered. Nick Cimitiere: 26, Bruised x1, 4 HP Baron Kriminel: 22, Bruised x2, Dazed (Baron Samedi's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Baron Samedi: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head: 18, Unharmed, 6 HP Mutt: 12, Unharmed, 0 HP Equinox: 11, Unharmed, 6 HP Hayley: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Dead Head is up next. Dr Archeville
Sorry, gang, RL's been craaazy lately. Dead Head Kriminel's not really moved, so DH is still in melee range of him. Standard Action: Attack vs. Kriminel (Defense 23); All-Out Attack (-4 Defense/+4 Attk), Power Attack (-5 Attk/+5 Dmg); DC 29 toughness if it hits (1d20+12=14) Attack vs. Kriminel (Defense 23); All-Out Attack (-4 Defense/+4 Attk), Power Attack (-5 Attk/+5 Dmg); DC 29 toughness if it hits; HP re-roll (1d20+12=27) Not as good as the crit from last round, but still a solid hit. DH has 2 HP now (2 last round, +1 for Kriminel not being KO'd then, -1 for using one this round). Mutt Move Action: Runs over to Nick's side; he's the most injured of us, so he looks like he'd be most in need of help Link to comment
trollthumper
Yeah, he's down now. We're out of rounds, and can now discuss what to do with Baron Samedi right here. Link to comment
