Ari
OOC for this thread I'm assuming that all four of the selected heroes came by teleport. durf and 'cape, if you decide you'd rather your character used their Space Travel power, just say so and I'll edit. Link to comment
Paragon
I will endeavor to be the epitome of human evolution, or at least not screw up too much. Link to comment
Ari
Sorry to have forgotten to mention this but: the League is using their(Daedalus's)teleporters to send the heroes to the ship, meaning the ones chosen gathered at the Freedom Hall to transport. I'm very sorry for forgetting to mention that earlier. Edits shall be made to rectify that. Link to comment
Supercape
Ive just posted SC arriving...is that ok? Link to comment
Paragon
Quintessence Would like to use his Physical science skill to see what he knows about Sedna. Since he is an astronomy major and all he gets a 10+7=17! Link to comment
Ari
Well let's see. DC 5 would be the knowledge that Sedna exists and is way out there. DC 10 that Sedna is a trans-Neptunian object about the size of Pluto, has a incredibly elliptical orbit, is reddish and has no moons, meaning its mass is very difficult to determine, as well as a diameter of 1,600 KM DC15 and you know it has a mass of between 1.8-4.3x10(21's power) , is red from a coat of hydrocarbon coverings or tholin after long exposure to UV radiation, is rarely impacted by meteorites or other bodies, and surface composition is mostly methane and water ice. angrydurf
Visual notice increment of 1000 feet. And penetrates concealment vision. Notice check (1d20+9=10) ... Yea. Well I guess he realyl doesn't know what would be unusual activity for a Lor spaceship anyway... Link to comment
Ari
Phalanx might not, but he does see a fleet of five vessels coming towards the group of eight already gathered about Neptune, and the ones already present aligning themselves in ranks and files. Link to comment
Raveled
Ironclad is going to be using her Auditory Super-Senses and taking 20 on Notice as they move forward. Automatic result of 30, and her S-Senses have Ultrahearing and Analytical on all Auditory, as well. Oh, and 1000-ft range increments. Link to comment
Ari
Ironclad notices that the humming appears to have multiple origin points, and these points move at around the same speed to maintain the illusion of a single source. It's at a frequency that argues an organic source. Link to comment
Ari
Feel free to scan everything you can think of, bang on walls, use laser-eyes, go to town. Link to comment
Supercape
Ill throw in a notice roll for prosperity: 1d20+15=24 Supercape will use Quantum Hole power, using ESP to project his radio senses to just beyond the door. True, he can't see there, but he can get an idea of the shape from radar senses, and of course have a very good picture of what energy and radiowaves is beyond. (24PP plowed into supersenses...I think thats the highest in the game ) Link to comment
Ari
On the other side of the door is a mass of inter-weaving EM, focused light and radio waves(no I have no idea if light's a wave or a particle. Particle wave?). They are directed at the space just behind the door proper. Their origin points suggest a security system. Link to comment
Raveled
Disable Device, which is Auto-25. Link to comment
Ari
That works, the door retreats back into the walls and ceiling. Link to comment
Supercape
Doing a straight teleport there, just pass the lattice. Link to comment
Ari
Everyone passes through the lattice in perfect health, with only Quintessence not reappearing with the others. He is removed to the center of the facility where he is trapped in an examination device and held incapable of moving his limbs, everyone gaining a HP for this and the next setback. An alarm is sounded(well, lit), and the three heroes detect in their own fashion a sudden energy spike in the walls around them. Link to comment
Supercape
Will post accordingly - incidentally I Anrgydurf hasnt been on for about three weeks + now... Link to comment
Ari
On hold until issues resolved. Please do no post. Link to comment
Ari
Okay, all clear now. Issues resolved. Link to comment
Ari
Alright, this place is pretty crazy-tough, TOU of the ceiling alone is 19. Link to comment
Ari
So yeah, basically it would be unfeasible to escape that way in time, even if Ironclad and Supercape made a combined attack. Link to comment
