Paragon Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 And the giant saves for no damage 19+12=31
Raveled Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Doing what I can to bring down the giant this round. Starlight's ranged attack roll w/ +2/-2 Power Attack, vs Giant's Def. DC 27 (1d20+8=21)
Paragon Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 20+12=32 looks like starlight's blast will go to waist this time.
Paragon Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 Quintessence will make an attack and try and put him away with a 5 point power attack. 18+3=21 That makes it a DC of 32. The big guy gets a 13+12=25. He failed by 7.
Supercape Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Supercape is going to all-out move (so 400 feet in the round or 400mph) this round (he can do that for 14 rounds!) in the direction of the superfast girl, and see if he can spot her with his extended Radar sense (x10 range). I don't know what the range penalty etc will be, or indeed how difficult it will be (possibly routine if she is broad daylight I guess!) but ill throw in the notice roll... 1d20+10=26 pretty good!
Supercape Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I dont know how you want to play that discovery in terms of initiative, but let me know when you want Supercape to swoop down to investigate / aid collapsed girl! (which is what he does!)
Paragon Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 Supercape can effectively act out of initiative. The other part of the fight will be over soon I believe.
Paragon Posted December 1, 2011 Author Posted December 1, 2011 currently supercape and the girl are out of the action, so that brings up Starlight.
Raveled Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 So the big guy is Dazed and Bruised right now? Starlight's going to try and Dazzle him. Starlight's ranged attack check, vs Big Guy's Def. DC 20 Ref & DC 20 Fort (1d20+10=13) That is probably not going to hit.
Paragon Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 Well quintessence tries a power attack and fails miserably. 9+3=12. not looking good there either.
Supercape Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Any thoughts on if would be ok to swoop the two victims to "the Lab" for a recovery and investigation?
Paragon Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 I actually think that would be a good idea. A local hospital would be hard pressed to contain them once they wake up. They might not even have the technology to help them.
Supercape Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Not sure how much of a rush we are in, but I guess Supercape feels taking his time for an hour and thus taking 20 on the knowledge check would be fair enough. Thats 30 on Knowledge (life sciences) then.
Paragon Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Hello all I have to apologize for the lack of posting lately. Between the holidays and the family I have been a bit overwhelmed. I will meke an effort to insure I post on a regularly scheduled time frame.
Raveled Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Starlight is going to be using Gather Information untrained. Yay for Charisma. Starlight's Gather Information roll. (1d20+4=9) Bah. Not nearly enough.
Supercape Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Supercapes Gather Info Roll 1d20+1=13 enough for a general inquiry I suppose.
Paragon Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Starlight comes up empty with her contacts. Supercape does slightly better and gets someold news articles about the Dostor linking him to a human experimintation scandle at FCU about ten years ago which ended up with the Doctor being sent to jail for several years in connection with the accidential death of a lab assistant. Also he comes up with the name SV Industries of which the not so good Doctor is the CEO.
Paragon Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Wel quintessence has almost no skill in searching for clues, but he sucks worse then normal. 1d20 +1 = 2
