Alternate Identity: Milo (birth name) Identity: Secret Birthplace: Freedom City, New Jersey Occupation: Unemployed Affiliations: None Family: Katrina (sister, 14), parents (gone) Description: Age: 16 (DoB: March 14, 1995) Apparent Age: mid teens Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5'7" Weight: 130 lbs Eyes: brown Hair: brown Milo is a short kid with the insistant term that he's "not fully grown yet". He's got a build on him, scrawny as he is there is definitely some muscle tone on him. He wears a hoodie and baggy (though not sagging) pants to cover it though. When he goes out as Sleep, he ditches the garb for a homemade cowl, a black tshirt with a random hero logo on it and pants that fit. Power Descriptions: He touches people and they fall into a deep sleep. They wake up later, but he is usually nowhere to be found. History: Milo's childhood was not the most joyous time. His parents were deadbeat and didn't care about the children they had. They thought the government would pay them if they had kids. Which was true in some regards, but only to take care of the kids. He and his sister barely got the attention they needed from home, so they took to the streets. The people out there cared for them more than their parents did. Milo and Katrina eventually fell into some protection from a group of street hoods who took them as their own. Their parents never knew about this until it was too late. After a physical squabble with the kids, the parents kicked them both out into the streets they loved so much and left for elsewhere, never to come back. This was heartbreaking for Milo and Katrina. Yet they had "real family" now. And for the next few years, everything was "fine". Milo learned everything he could from his new family. He pick pocketed mostly, but he knew how to break into a store without getting caught. Everything was "fine" until a couple of years ago. He and his sister were picked up off of the streets by the DNAscendant project for more fresh meat to experiment on. They were both locked in a tiny cell along with other potentials. Milo was one of the first picked out to receive the treatment. He was sound asleep while they worked on him, so he never saw the rescue of him, his sister and the rest of the subjects by Larceny Inc. Trap Door, the leader of Larceny Inc, took them to The Loft and waited until Milo rose from his sedated slumber. He wanted to see what they had done to this kid. When Milo rose he wanted to know where he was. Katrina and Trap Door told him of the rescue. When Katrina helped him up she fell fast alseep. Trap Door knew what this kid could do now. Trap Door told Milo that he was owed a favor for the rescue. Not now, but "soon". Trap Door then deposited the two back into their neighborhood. For the next couple of years, everything was great! Milo had superpowers. He could help out people who couldn't help themselves. Like a superhero. Katrina was initially non-plussed, but when Milo explained that they could get out of this place with something like this, she changed her tune. Milo became Sleep. Silently creeping through the night and taking down criminals in their tracks. Personality & Motivation: Milo is a protector of the streets. He helps those who can't help themselves. He is a chipper fellow, not letting things like being homeless and penniless get in his way. Some say he is not seeing the full picture and secretly, he knows that, but he doesn't care. He has a job to do. Powers & Tactics: He's more a defensive fighter, when his sleep power works it's a lot easier. Though the times it doesn't, he has to resort to keep away. He can "taunt" the target with his acrobatic moves and sometimes seemingly disappear from sight.
